Authentic to its age yet well appointed and maintained to contemporary standards. The room, facilities and grounds are extremely well maintained. All staff interaction was professional, yet personable. Very friendly and professional staff. The constant temperature throughout the hotel, especially the bedroom was perfect. At no point did we feel cold, considering it was a cold and wet day, nor did we get overheated.

We stayed for 1 night with a toddler, plenty to keep the little one entertained with a play area and large grounds to explore. Room was also very spacious, we stayed in an executive room. Even with an additional bed, the room had plenty of room. Loved it so much, we’ve since rebooked.
