Boutique hotel in this case means a tiny room above a noisy pub, with a floodlight facing the only window, a shower which temperature one can't control and a tiny TV where the remote can't control the volume. Not good at all.
Great location. Rooms are small so I'd only book if I was by myself (which I was). There is NO powerpoint at all in the bathroom so you have to dry your hair out near the bed. While you can't actually hear the toilet flush, you can definitely hear it all drain through the pipes if you have a floor above you and the water drain from the shower also, which is not ideal when someone is showering or going to the toilet when you are about to go to sleep. Apart from the water flow it's a quiet location. They advertise free water and I assumed that would be every day. I booked for 4 nights and was the only water was two small bottles on the first day and that was it, so you will need to purchase water. Breakfast is average but okay if you are on a budget, however there are sooo many really great places that do amazing breakfast and brunch nearby so if you are booking all of this to save, maybe don't.
