The room smelled so much. They should warn people online that the building is under total reconstruction. My son and I couldn’t sleep the entire night because of how horrible the smell was and even gave us headaches.

It’s 13min away from naval base. My room never got serviced only new towels left in room. Breakfast is good (waffles, eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, juice). Down the street are several restaurants. Construction still happening at this facility. All staff were nice!

Everything was good, with the updated of the property, that was the negative but with the updated this will be one of the premier places to stay at in Gurnee, IL. Overall the stay was great.

They were renovating, and were very nice. The renovations that were made while we were there are beautiful. Breakfadt in the mornings were amazing!!! The staff was beyond amazing!!! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stay at this location!!!!

The first floor was under construction. After someone finally came to the desk to check in I was able to get my key. He was nice. The place is EXTREMELY dated and dirty. I stay at Hampton inns frequently and have never stayed at one this poor. The carpet in my room was filthy. The couch I would never sit on. The furnace wasn’t working properly. There were construction workers hammering upstairs from me until 10:30pm. I will never stay here again. I have no issue about construction being done-but the communication was very poor. Tried to check out this morning and there were no workers. Finally the woman working was putting food out for breakfast and her long unkept hair was falling into the food. Myself and another guest both saw it and left.

It should have been explained that the property is under renovation. I got sick and it took 3 calls to get maintenance and housekeeping up to my room. Definitely will not visit again. There are other better maintained properties in the area
