The property is under construction so not appealing to the eye however the lake is beautiful. There was an issue with Asian Beetles in the room. There was no other space available for us to move to so we had to deal with it. We were offered a vacuum to suck of the bugs ourselves.

This was a unique and fun place actually. Nothing fancy, but an adequate place to get a good night sleep as we traveled across the country. There were lots of renovations and construction going on, which really obscured the view of the lake, but since we were just passing through that was not an issue for us.

There was no one around had 3 numbers to call if no one was there to check in but no answer. Had to check in over the phone got no paperwork and no one came around to clean room. The sign is hard to see in the dark. The location is nice right on lake.

For an overnight stay while traveling, it was great. Check in after 6 pm was a phone call. A nice clean room with all the amenities, including a fireplace..went out on deck and looked at lake from a short distance. Hill City is a nice, little small town...

The property was not kept up. We checked in and looked at our room and decided to get in the car and drive an hour further west to find a nicer place to stay. For us it just was not a very nice place. The man checking us in was nice.

Nice room and the beds were very comfortable. Also, appreciated being able to swim in the lake and that they allow pets. I also liked that the rooms had an electric fireplace. Would definintely stay here again.

Motel rooms have fireplace and a deck that has a view of the lake!! Only bad thing was no ice machine but it’s northern MN so no biggie. Kayaks, pedal boat and canoes were super fun and easy to enjoy! Staff is awesome and very accommodating! We really enjoyed our stay.
