Comfortable bed with great linens. We had a kitchenette and enjoyed the ability to make breakfast. No toaster and the back and front door needed maintenance. Nice pool, hot tub and sauna!

The room was redone and clean. The bed was comfortable. The smell of smoke when I walked into the room was like walking into a casino. I didnt realize people could still smoke in hotel rooms. Our checking was at 3 and I did not check in until after 9pm.

Manager very accommodating and courteous. Housekeeping needs to vacuum under the beds and clean tub/shower. Previous guest items left hanging in shower. (Luffa). Just a suggestion to add hook on bathroom door to hang clothing. Have kleenex in bathroom . Still very pleased with my stay.

We didn’t have a hot tub, our original room was given to someone else, so we’re put somewhere else. I went down for coffee and there was nothing. Worst stay I have ever experienced, would never stay there again!!!!!!!

Fantastic stay at Nisswa Hotel & Suites. The self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the newly renovated pool area is a standout — tropical feel, clean, and very relaxing with the sauna and hot tub. The in-room kitchenette was incredibly useful and well stocked for basic cooking, and having Starbucks coffee in the room really elevated the experience. Top it off with an unbeatable location near downtown Nisswa and the lakes — this place checks all the boxes.

This hotel is under new management. They have not a fantastic job renovating it. There is a great deal of attention paid to every detail by the manager. The rooms are very clean The beds and the linens are very clean and new they have coffee makers microwaves range in the room. The manager pays personal attention to almost everything that goes on in that property. I do not believe that any location is 100% perfect. Every place has room to improve. We got a decent deal for the hotel for our stay. We specifically reserve this resort so that we could enjoy the hot tub. We did enjoy it for the first evening that we were there and then the hot tub broke for some reason and we were unable to use it for the rest of our trip. That said I will 100% go back. That should tell you how I feel about the property.

Since arriving at this location, I was throughly impressed. Having visited this place years ago, this place really got a face lift! I would recommend this place to anyone! Had a little bit of an issue with getting into the conjoining room, but staff was quick to help us out. Will definitely be staying here again!

Overall, the property has been updated nicely with comfortable beds, decor, furniture and fixtures. Note, the lobby and entire front of the building smelled like marijuana all evening. Our room was not ready at check-in, but we were easily transferred to a different room. Sadly, there was no toilet paper, no towels and no handsoap. Staff apologized and replenished. There was a tiny amount of trash in a receptacle not emptied from previous guests - gross, but not a huge problem. Thankfully, the room was very clean and nicely updated. New curtains are needed as the existing ones are faded. Bedding, pillows and beds were excellent. The kitchenette was new and nicely appointed with a coffee pot, small fridge/freezer, two top stove, sink and cabinet. The bathroom vanity, toilet and sink are brand new and even had an exhaust fan for humidity. Heating and fan unit worked well in the room. The common area was clean and welcoming. There is a guest restroom w/shower, kitchen with stove, microwave, pizza oven and tables. The pool and hottub were wonderfully renovated. Pool temperature was chilly, but reasonable. Sauna was great. The space has a cute, tropical beach theme including new composite wood furniture as well as a patio sectional couch. The pool room is a perfect space for birthdays and other gatherings. The updates are nice, clean and welcoming - a much needed option for Nisswa lodging now that renovations are happening and the property is better maintained.

We had a really great stay at Nisswa Hotel & Suites. The updates are noticeable, especially the pool, sauna, and spa area — all were clean, modern, and a huge upgrade from before. Definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The location is excellent — close to everything in Nisswa and easy access to the lakes and local spots. Check-in was incredibly convenient. Not having to wait in line and being able to go straight to the room with a door code made the whole arrival process smooth and stress-free. Overall, the property has improved significantly. We would absolutely stay again.

No soap in shower or sink. What looked like smeared poop on the underside of our white quilt. Pool and hot tub not available but no mention of that when booking. No continental breakfast but was also mentioned when booking. I have pictures of the poop smeared quilt which I only saw after sleeping in the bed.

Hi, we would highly recommend staying at this hotel. With all of the new renovations it's very clean and cozy. The on-site manager, Luke, was very professional and accommodating. The only minor item that should be mentioned is the quality of the hair conditioner in the pre-filled wall dispenser located in the shower. It was low quality and merely water being dispensed. Although, the hotel does provide the small shampoo and conditioner bottles to rectify this concern. Again, we will definitely look to stay here again in the near future.
