Its hard to know where to start. But the internet was out the entire stay so an employee was needed to enter your room every single time. This wouldnt have refelcted on the staff had it not been for the missing attendant overnight for over an hour. I have call logs to show this. Additionally the room was not cleaned. I turned the oven on only to have the room fill with chemical smoke as oven off had been sprayed all over the inside. And left there. I took photos. I let the front drsk know and nothing wa sdone so i eventually scrubbed my own hotel oven in order to use it. The heater didnt work well and i had to go buy a space heater at target. Also the carpet has tape that is worn down over the staples coming out of the floor. So i stepped on one. I told the front desk this and not one person offered to change my room The front desk people for the most part were incredible and the maintenance guy was too. Thats why i couldnt give just one star. But the rest of this stay was unbelievable.

We have stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Flagstaff several times over the years, but unfortunately the property has gone downhill and we will not be returning. The hotel feels very old and poorly maintained. The furniture in our room was visibly torn and worn, which made the stay uncomfortable and disappointing. It’s clear that updates and basic upkeep have been neglected. Customer service was equally disappointing. We dealt with a front desk employee named Mason, who was completely unhelpful and showed no interest in addressing our concerns. There was no effort to resolve issues or offer alternatives, which only added to the frustration. This used to be a place we were comfortable returning to, but based on this experience, we’ll be opting out in the future. Corporate management really needs to take a close look at this property, as both the condition of the hotel and the level of service are far below expectations.

The living room area was filthy. The rug had stains, spots, and was visibly dingy. The furniture was damaged with runs and rips. The vents throughout the room had not been dusted for some time. The kitchen vents above the stove were extremely filthy. The refrigerator/ ice maker made a loud rattling sound. The fireplace didn’t work properly.

The room was very run down, couch had holes, tears & flat custions. in many places. The front door did not fit properly. The door jam plate was comeing off therefore door did not close completely & need to put chair in front of door to feel safe. The furance blew hot & the cold air all night over the bed. It banged & rattled all night, therefore no sleeping. It was a long night. The light in outside stairs leading to parking was out & still dark, a falling issies.Sunday morning told registration desk about issues & he didnt seems to care, just said will tell someone. I then told him to cancel sunday night & we we would be out by 9 am. No way could stay another night there. Worse place we have ever stayed, our trip was ruined & we drove home.

The worst Sonesta that we’ve been to. We checked in at around 6pm. I called the front desk since to request if we can move to ground floor since my mother in law is old and couldn’t do steps anymore - the staff told us there is no available rooms already as it they’re fully booked which I think they’re not. They said they will be available room the next day and will call us if it’s ready. Guess what? They didn’t call us! And also, there was no crib. I message the hotel 3x about the crib but no response. I called them beforw booking and they said they will have the crib ready in the room the day of check in. Such a bad experience!
