The room was fine and staff friendly. However when we went in for breakfast we were greeted by quite a few men who appeared to be boat refugees. We felt quite uncomfortable whilst having breakfast and left very quickly. Surely this should not be happening in city centre hotels where tourists and visitors are coming ?

Requested an accessible room due to the fact I am recovering from an ankle injury and am on crutches. I was told this was no problem, but arrived to find a non-accessible room which included a bathroom with a large step which was clearly unsuitable for someone using crutches. The reception staff barely looked up when I came in despite clearly struggling to walk. The room didn’t have menus for the restaurant and the TVs only offered limited digital channels with no apps built in. Again, when sitting down to eat barely any attention was paid by the staff. At the price point of £140 for one night you would expect a premium experience but this was scarcely better than a hotel half its price.
