To begin the check-in front desk is a mile from the property. The outside door card key lock was not operational and it appears it has been for quite sometime. When your key doesn’t work, you have to drive a mile to the front desk to have them reactivated. If you are desperate for a room, this is your place.

For the price it was ok. The room/ hallway had a weird smell, it felt very moist in the room, and there was rust in the bathtub. The bed was comfy, I wish they had normal size pillows, but overall decent.

We went to check into the hotel and we weren't told about the holding fee on our card. I only had cash on me and they couldn't take that. The service was VERY slow, took a good 20 min to a half hour to be checked in. When we got checked in, they sent us to another building that did NOT have the pool. (The only reason I booked with this hotel was so the kids I brought could swim when we got there). When we went to the building we were staying in, we couldn't figure out the key cards, they were not working with the door to get in. Overall, I was very frustrated and annoyed. I think they should've told us about the fee and the fact that the pool was at a different location from the room we were staying at. They definitely could've been faster with service (I had kids in the car waiting) and they could've explained the keycards and how they worked.

Quiet Stay with a Scenic View, but Some Wear Shows

The hotel is very quiet, both in terms of the rooms and the surrounding area—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The riverside view is lovely and adds a relaxing touch to the stay. While the rooms have been updated, the property is beginning to show its age. The floors, bed, and desk were clean, but a few maintenance issues stood out. The bathtub had some rust, and there were a few broken ceramic tiles on the bathroom floor. A deep spring cleaning would help—light switches were sticky, and the tops of the baseboards were dusty. Overall, it’s a tranquil spot with potential, but some attention to detail would go a long way.

Separate but not equal

The room was nice and spacious. The only issue is the hotel is made up of two buildings with the second one being down the road. They were putting most guests in the separate building which felt like we were the rejects.

We had an absolutely great experience! Check in process went smoothly! Our room was so clean and comfy. Checking out was so quick and easy! The only thing I did not like is the $30 pet fee, but other than that, it was the best hotel experience so far.

Not honoring ground floor request with handicap placard even though they confirmed that the request would be honored previously. No one at the desk upon arrival. Staff not helpful. One room key did not work. Have to DRIVE to another address across the river to our room. Then one of the room keys did not work. Property and parking lot not well lit—very dark outside — felt unsafe.
