A very reasonable option. The room was clean enough, the bed adequate, and the pillows were nice, actually. Appreciated that. The toiletries are a known brand that. The free breakfast had an average amount of variety, but the coffee was truly terrible and watery. If you're wondering if there are any more basic hotels left that are any good anymore, this one is fine to book.

Horrible hotel- noisy area with a lot of homeless people. The room was not clean. The bedsprings had gone. Staff impolite. I won’t be staying at a la Quinta again

Two days in Portland

Room was clean and spacious. We had a single king. We signed a no smoking agreement, but someone on our floor smoked marijuana near constantly the first of our two nights. The breakfast is average to better, but no where near enough seating in the area. Location is quick to the freeway, but no locations for food or entertainment nearby without driving.

We stayed in many hotels and never have the problems like in this one. The lavatory running water (both in hot and cold water) was very small compared to regular running water flow. The flow was a little better than dripping. Wait a long time to fill a coffee cup. The service staff's attitude was also a problem. Old saying is that they should treat customers like at home. But for this hotel, it is not that way. The rate was very expansive and didn't get a good service. Very disappointed.

Clean and comfortable. Our tv remote was missing and although I was assured one would be brought to our room right away I finally had to go to front desk and get it myself. Nice it has laundry room and detergent to buy but hard to access pay by phone to use. Breakfast was reasonable.

We have stayed here many times over the years- great location, beds are pretty comfortable, and rooms clean. Unfortunately our tv didn’t have a remote. The woman at the front desk was kind enough to bring us up two remotes as she wasn’t sure what would work. Neither one did and the tv wouldn’t even turn on from the actual tv. I was happy to see the shower had the big pump bottles in it, but ours had 2 conditioners, no shampoo. And the last negative was having to pay to park. That is something new there and seems pretty unnecessary as they have their own lot.

Let’s see…the light’s out in the bathroom. The toilet doesn’t flush. There’s no water pressure. The laundry is a rip off, I paid half the price at another (nicer) hotel. AND they charge you $10 to park your car in their (half empty) parking lot.

It was a fast uber to Portland downtown and the airport. Everyone was nice and helpful. The bed sheets had stains on them and didn’t seem fully clean. We didn’t realize this until we woke up. The rest of the room was clean and the breakfast was convenient.
