Note: As I do with all my rentals, I have personally stayed at this property 6 or 7 times, before listing it, and have walked back and forth to the stockyards everytime....during the daytime, early evening, and late night coming
back. I have walked by myself and with others. In my experience, I can tell you that its an easy, and safe walk, with street lights. However, if you don't care to hoof it for 1/2 mile, a $6-7 Uber ride will get you there in 5-minutes

2nd Note: If this property doesn't work for you, check out our Stockyards Cowboy Cottage...Sleeps 9.....in front of this Cowboy Cabin-both are a 2 block walk to Stockyards......or our Stockyards Ranch House........Sleeps 6, and can accommodate up to 8 (sofa bed), with an extra half bath, 2-car garage, private fenced yard and 2050 sf. Also a short 3 block walk to the Stockyards.....Also, our Stockyards Gable house, (1/4 mile to Stockyards) sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, garage.....

Our host was incredibly attentive, and the house was spotless. Truly, a comfortable place to stay. While the neighborhood looked a little rough around the edges, we never once felt unsafe even coming back late in the evening. Plus getting to the stockyards was a breeze, and the Uber ride was surprisingly affordable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

This home was fantastic. The home was very comfortable and accommodating. The check-in process was very simple, and the owner provided thorough instructions for check-in and check-out procedures. The location was convenient. My friends and I elected to uber to our destinations, but you could very reasonably walk to the Stockyards with little difficulty. Overall, when I return to Fort Worth, this will be my choice of stay in the future.

The house was great and just as pictured. We had a great stay in Fort Worth for my daughter's parents weekend at TCU. The only downfall about the property is the surrounding area is a little sketchy. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. :)

Quaint House close to the Stockyards

A little concerned with the neighborhood when we drove up, but it was such a cute and quaint house and with the yard completely gated, felt completely safe throughout the stay and LOVED the little home. Decorating was great! The vicinity of the house to the Stockyards was wonderful - not really walkable, but a very short 4 min drive. It was a PERFECT place for us to stay for my Husband's Navy Retirement!
