Royal Palms is always a nice place to stay. Far enough removed from the chaos of the strip, but very easy to walk to. Friendly staff, great area. Short walk to the beach, and they have nice pools, close to great restaurants also.

Excellent service when you can get it
We chose a very quiet room. Unfortunately, it did not have a phone and the key rarely worked. So, we used our cell phones to call for assistance with the lock. Since the lobby is only manned about 2 hrs. a day, we were usually talking to an answering service somewhere in So. Florida. When we did have someone at the front desk they were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and the local of the resort is excellent. Too bad the owners don't care to pay for people to man the front desk and provide phones in the rooms.

Front staff were very friendly when checking in. The room was simple but clean and the area was quiet. We liked the location and its vicinity to places such as the beach and Las Olas Blvd. The only slight mishap was when we tried to book a couples massage (which they advertise on their website) and they stated they could not provide it. We understood but a massage at the spa was one of the reasons we chose this location so it was a little annoying. However we found a great massage place nearby and the hotel associated village bakery was fantastic. We would consider staying here again

Where do I begin. DO NOT PUT URSELF THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE! U can hear the upstairs people walking and talking till the wee hours of the morning. Did not get any sleep! No front desk clerk. She has to be called from her home and when she finally arrives terrible attitude. Sink clogged. No safety lock on door. Maintenance man and cleaning lady walked in on me naked 2 different times. I had prepaid 2 nights. The 2nd night i rented a different hotel to get some sleep. The straw that broke the camels back is i asked for a late checkout and they charged me $35 but they insisted i go pay before noon at the front office instead of before i was leaving. Extremely inconvenient. I had to get out of bed and put clothes on to go pay only to wait 30 mins for the attendant to arrive. When owner or gm got word that i was gonna leave a bad review he called me. I told him about everything that happened and his offer to make things better “let me reimburse u the $35. I said keep it! That doesnt fix anything”. Really the worst hotel stay i have had in years

This place was so run down it looked like a place you would make drug deals. I asked to move to another location which they did. It was called the Aqua, it was better but not great. Pool had sticks and tree leaves in it smelled moldy location is horrible nothing around. I will never stay at these properties again.
