This accommodation is quite new (I believe since 2023) and yet unfinished: there is wiring for a light fixture hanging down, another tube in the ceiling hanging down, a door that doesn't close, no locks on doors drilled out (although there are fixtures). No instruction manual for appliances. No towel bars, or reading light for living room. Pull out sofa was not comfortable. No warm blankets were provided and the temperature in the apartment was very chilly (note there is a law in Florence prohibiting heat being turned on in apartments before 1 November). No toaster, 1 small working Italian espresso maker, no salt, pepper, sugar, paper towels, hot mitts. It was minimalist and while clean and very well located near the Duomo, not well equipped for a comfortable stay.

Pros: Excellent location - like 10 steps from the Duomo and all the restaurants. 10-12 min walk from the railway station. 2-3 min walk to David. Walk to everything, come back when you need a break. Suite is almost brand new / recently renovated, with high end finishings, large marble washroom etc luxury features, high ceilings and is quite large for a studio. Building is very nice, safe, secure, new elevator, etc. Host let us check-out about 45 min late, and that was appreciated. Good comfortable mattress Cons: There is no wifi, and cell phone signal is very weak inside the unit, and that made it difficult to communicate with the host. Check in experience was not great. Seems to be outsourced to a third party who had no idea about the unit, how to work the air conditioning unit (which is a bit complex and in Italian). Was not very welcoming and rather curt. Just wanted to collect the tax money and leave. We had to walk out of the building to get cell phone signal and then contact the host, who did promptly send someone to help adjust the air conditioning. The host could consider leaving a booklet or print out of instructions for appliances in the room. There is no dishwasher, or clothes iron in the room.

We had numerous issues with this property and despite informing the owner, the issues were not resolved. There was no ventilation and therefore the bathroom marble floor was constantly wet (even after a full day of not using the bathroom), very slippery and thus dangerous. There was no WiFi and the cellular connection only worked in the kitchen. We could not modify the temperature or a/c and there was no iron, despite indicating that there was one on the Expedia site.

No cuenta con estacionamiento, y se encuentra dentro de la zona restringida de estacionamiento, por ser el centro, por lo que si traes vehículo es un problema la única opción es en los estacionamientos que te permiten el cual hay uno a la vuelta y cuestan 50 euros aprox por día.
