A bit of a walk but still walkable around Florence. Please note that they will ask you to pay the city tax fee for the hotel in euros (cash). It is pretty high compared to other places I stayed. Still, lovely place to stay in with air conditioning which was amazing in the summer. Close enough to walk around the city and come back to by foot. There is a park nearby and food options when you walk further. The breakfast is standard and okay with bread, ham, and coffee/juice or tea. Pretty garden area.

Solo female travel approved

I have been working and traveling in Florence for over a month and my job had placed me at different hotels and this was by far my favorite, especially as a solo female traveler in a foreign country. This is a family run business with the absolute sweetest employees who will help you with everything and are so great to chat with. I felt so safe and cared for. The breakfast is amazing and traditional European / Italian with croissants, cheese, ham, yogurt and fresh fruit. I got a cappuccino every morning before work. The bed and room were very comfortable and had everything you could need and was cleaned DAILY by their amazing staff! I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends and family because it is about a 15 min walk to the duomo so you can escape the craziness of the city center here and the 31 / 32 / 14 / 6 and c bus lines are right outside the hotel which makes getting places super easy. I took the 31/32 bus to the train station easily for a quick beach day trip.

Very nice accommodations.

The lobby and breakfast area were very charming. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the air conditioning so we slept with the window open which was fine except for the noise late at night and then again in the morning. The staff apologized for the problem.

The staff is very nice and helpful! Our air conditioning unit was turned off whenever we would leave the room, and we had to leave the key at the desk when we left. Other than that it great!

Close to Florence town center, we walked to every attraction on feet, including my 8 yo. Front desk and restaurant staff are super nice and friendly, they do require to leave room key at front desk every time you leave hotel though, understandable as their room key is pretty unique with a brass charm. Parking is also possible with their partnered garage, about 8 min walk away, 2 min drive away, as Florence town center is not welcoming cars. If you arrive by car, highly recommend to check with front desk about their garage for discounted rate

Room and bed are small and basic. What was the point of putting your request when my only window was facing a wall next door. Location of the hotel is too far from all tourist attractions. Breakfast can be better, not many choices and not fresh. Staff was not happy when I told him about the the ham turning yellow, not 1 slice, several slices of ham turning yellowed. Staff was not happy when I gave him a rotten orange from their basket. Overall, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
