This hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay here. We only had 2 minor problems: the wall by the bed was messed up and the window was stuck open but maintenance fixed it right away for us. The pool was great, the jacuzzi tub was awesome, the staff was great and even the breakfast was good. I would recommend this place to any family or friends who needed somewhere in erie to stay and id stay here again.

Maybe don’t pack a swimsuit.

We stayed at this La Quinta over the weekend. It was just about what I’d expect - reasonably nice rooms (especially nice shower which did NOT have a low-flow head), a breakfast appropriate to a hotel at this price point, and common areas fairly clean. Big exception was the pool. Given the wicked heat it would have been nice to have a swim but when we arrived the pool water was green, there wasn’t even a whiff of chlorine in the pool room, you couldn’t see more than about 18 inches in the water, and there was a sheen of what I assume was the oil from the skin of a whole lot of previous guests. Several people commented about the gross water, and the front desk staff didn’t seem to care much. The manager said someone was doing maintenance on the pool but that’s hard to believe - my own hot tub would take days of ignoring water chemistry to get into the condition that pool water was in. Other than that our trip was fine.

Room wasn't made up once during our stay ..weren't told of this policy ahead of time Room had a funny odor. Upon inspection found dirty socks and chicken bones behind dresser. Yuk! Ceiling in room was falling in No grab bars in showe. Pool was dirty. Should close down this facility.

The keys were a problem. I had to get them fixed several times. I am also pretty sure I got bug bites in the bed. They also had one person working the front desk which was really hard if anyone needed help with anything they couldn't leave their post.

The stay was horrible. I prepaid my for my rooms. They ended up charging us twice. The rooms were nasty, not clean. Fridges didn’t work.

The hall and room smelled clean and fresh but upon entering the room it appeared old and run down. One coat of paint on the walls was obvious and made the room look cheap, the baseboard under window was peeling off, the bathroom was okay but the shower grout appeared to be painted over and was very dirty or stained. There were gouges on the desk top that made it look old and in need of repair. The ice maker in the refrigerator was in serious need of defrosting, which made our soda and tea freeze overnight and the ice maker machine on the second floor was out of order. Breakfast was very limited to prepackaged products, there was a waffle maker but we did not use it. The staff was very friendly and polite but unfortunately, we have added this hotel to our short list of "do not return" places to stay.

The good::: The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and exactly as described on the booking page. The breakfast offerings were great. We had a good time all in all. The awful::: Despite asking for a crib when booking and being assured the night before checking in that we would have one, the manager had to scramble to find a pack-and-play instead. The pool was closed for maintenance when we got there but we were told it would be open by that afternoon——it ended up being closed our ENTIRE stay opening around the kids bed time the night before check out but we were given the name of a local pool that we could PAY to use instead of the pool that would have been included in our hotel stay. There were a lot of run down looking areas within the hotel itself, i.e. railings in elevator broken off, security cameras taped up, and quite a few amenities such as ice machines with “out of order” typed up notes on them.

Do yourself a favor, dont stay here!

This was the dirtiest hotel ive ever stayed in. There was half eaten food behind tv, cigarette butts on window ledge inside of room and stains on the bedding. The room had a horrible odor, smelled like something died. We stayed for 3 nights and were never offered clean towels even though we booked for 4 people and only had 3 towels. I asked on 2nd day for clean towels and was handed 2 hand towels. Not sure what those would dry. The pool was so murky you couldnt see 5 inches below surface and the breakfast area was disgusting. Each day we had to take the key cards back downstairs to have them reprogrammed for our room. At one point the maid opened our door for us without verifying it was our room, could have let anyone in without proper id etc. Very disappointed in the property. Had no other choice as was only hotel in vicinity with availability or we would have checked out. But hey after all the lysol i bought and used they can advertise one semi decent room now. For almost 500 for 3 nights id rather sleep in a tent next time!

I don’t think my linens got changed on my bed it was covered in dog hair the other bed was clean. The staff got me new linens quickly. And the pool is white cloudy you can’t see the bottom. If it was clear my family would have swam in the pool often. Breakfast is awesome. Overall it was a nice stay just a couple small things that needs improvement. Staff is so friendly there I would recommend this place

Drug deals in the parking lot, rooms could be entered without the keycard (we were in room 216 which you could just open wide open). The beds were reasonably comfortable.. the bathrooms were a bit dirty. The lights in room 217 wouldn’t turn on. Some updating needs to take place.

was a 5-night stay. We prepaid for the room through Expedia. Hotel asked for a credit card for incidentals which I provided. Within a few hours of arriving, and every day after, my card was charged for another night's stay. Finally got that corrected at the front desk. Two days after we checked out, they billed my card for another night's stay. Had to contact my credit card company and file a dispute. Never had any maid service the entire time. Had to go to the front desk just to get toilet paper. Carpet was stained and dirty. Hotel was not full but the room that we got was right next to the kitchen. Very noisey. Ran out of coffee and plates twice during breakfast. New owner from what we were told when we checked in. Shampoo was only half full as was the liquid soap. Left over from last guest. The massage jets in the tub were coated with mold. Breakfast was weak at best. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years and this one rates in the bottom 1% No one at the desk when we were ready to check out.

Musty smell, tv was broken, and when we first got there the antenna wasn’t even screwed into the tv. Our first bathroom didn’t open until we went up to customer service and switched rooms. It opened with ease (ghost maybe?) capets sticky, food was AWFUL. Light above the tub didn’t work. There was left over garbage in our room. And you could see where someone “washed” the bed stand. DO NOT BOOK HERE IT IS NOT WORTH $1.

Reception did not care. Not friendly. No food available in the little store, only candy. Room needed many repairs, ceiling, bath area, walls had damage. Overall impression was not good but I was too tired to find another location. I do know I will not be returning anytime soon. Breakfast had little to offer.
