Prepare to sweat if it's hot out.

The thermostat would shut down the A/C if you werent in the room forna period of time. After a long aday at Waldameer and then another long day at the beaches we came back to warm rooms. Breakfast was decent but on our last day there staff had a hard time keeping up with the demand. They did seem to be trying though. The suite we had was roomy & relatively clean.

Not a pleasant stay.

I usually try to look past little issues, but this stay was unacceptable: 1. The toilet door wouldn’t lock from the inside—even after I reported it, maintenance never fixed it. 2. The shower head was leaking so badly I barely had water pressure. 3. There’s “room service,” but when you ask they only bring towels and refuse to make your bed. 4. Breakfast was supposed to run until 10 AM, yet they started clearing everything at 9:45. 5. The hotel was clearly understaffed—one front-desk rep was juggling check-ins, housekeeping requests and more. 6. Staff looked exhausted, overwhelmed and frankly rude, probably due to cost-cutting and lack of help. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else. I won’t be back.

The hotel was very dirty. Fitness room door broke. Hallways filthy. Wallpaper coming off of walls in room. This hotel was probably very nice at one time but was showing wear. Staff were not customer focused but complained about job - multiple ones - which speaks to the culture.

Overpriced!

The breakfast was great with eggs, waffles maker, biscuits/gravy and juice. The staff was also very pleasant. The reasoning for 3 stars is because of the price, I’m disappointed. 1) We had pull out couch bed, no sheets. Had to call front desk. 2) the whirlpool tub wouldn’t plug close so my kids couldn’t enjoy the tub (water kept draining even with wash cloth to help plug) I did notify office and they offered to fix, but it was too late as kids getting ready for bed. 3) various paint/wallpaper peeling in room and , very outdated and dirty elevator. 4) given all my issues, never given discount. Simply “I’m sorry” 5) hotel connected to splash lagoon and no special pricing! Had the room been cheaper, and with same problems, it wouldn’t be a big of deal. Overpriced hotel!

The actual room was decent but the only bench in the entire area was directly outside our window. Multiple nights, we were woken up by people yelling and partying outside at the bench. The bench should be removed or placed away from rooms which will be occupied (or people should be a little more courteous of others…) Breakfast seemed a little disorganized as well. They completely ran out of utensils one day and were out of food items for an extended period of time multiple days. With the amount of guests utilizing the breakfast amenity, it was very inconvenient.

There was no WiFI available when I arrived and I missed a zoom meeting as a result. In the shower only to find the container for body wash was empty. When a replacement arrived, it was not installed. Because the applicator was loose. They took over the property from a former Holiday Inn and did very little in the way of improvement or maintenance.
