Location is spot on. Hotel excellent in all areas. Reception 100% staff great. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Food and drink great. Best of all the free use of pool _ sauna _ steam room and jaccuzzi within the pool. Will deffinatly be back here as we come to Edinburgh 4 times a year.

Room okay, but poor the the bar shut early on a Thurs night, meaning I missed the chance to use my Expedia free drinks voucher. I emailed reception mailbox with a complaint email specifically addressed to the general manager, but 5 days later still no reply... A shame that arose, but otherwise hotel okay.

We booked the deluxe suite for two nights for our ten year wedding anniversary. We could not have been more happy with the room, and the hotel in general. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The gym and pool facilities were superb. I got the checkout time wrong and the lovely receptionist was so accommodating in allowing us a little extra time to vacate our room. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Our room was not perfect (no phone and TV did not work), but management was fantastic and made everything right. Pool and sauna were a great addition and very clean. Room was quiet and great for sleeping.
