Staff at the front desk was not nice. Had to ask a few times for towels to go to the beach and this was huge inconvenience for them. Nobody smiled and was friendly with questions and they made it seem Like I was going to steal towels because we asked for extra to go to the beach

The staff was not friendly. The king size bed in our room was awful,. It sunk down in the middle terribly, needs replaced. The room was clean. However, I was surprised at the condition of the hotel not due to the flooding : rusted table lamps on the nightstands, ceiling rot and mold in the bathroom shower, very old and short toilet with a rusty handle and did not flush well., old cabinetry/mirror and light fixture that did not match the room decor, older faucet fixtures. The housekeeping did an excellent job on a daily basis. We love the location and have stayed here many years ago at this hotel. The pool area was very kept and tiki bar was convenient. The common area was always humid and warm as if the a/c was down.. In all, I was surprised this facility was a Holiday Inn.

The hotel has an amazing view of the sunset especially from the attached restaurant Jimmy's. The beach is only about 0.25 miles away. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We loved the location, easy to walk to various locations. Golf view room with balcony had amazing views. Resort fees (parking/pool) should be included in room charge, not extra. Hotel is dated and well used, room was clean and comfortable. Seems like the music was turned up in volume after 8 PM, not really a fan of that.

Overall it was a góod stay for coming after the hurricanes. Room was ok and bathroom has doors hanging off the cabinet. Needs some room improvements.

Room is tired - they have a few newer furniture to make it a little better- noisy ac unit. But the views you get what you pay for 10/10 right over top of the restaurant jimmy’s on the ocean - live entertainment at night able to enjoy from our balcony- dove products to use inside room. Staff friendly. Didn’t use their pool because why go on the pool when you’re 5 mins from the Clearwater beach ☀️

The elevator wasn’t working and our Check process wasn’t very smooth because we booked through hotels.com. If they don’t hold the correct rooms through a third party booker I don’t known why they even put their hotels on these sites!

Excellent location

Excellent staff, views and location. Hotel was just dated and really needed a decor update. Hotel was worn but staff kept it very clean.

Extremely disappointing!

This place is a joke and a total waste of money. We had a three day/two night stay. Elevators did not work upon arrival and mostly throughout entire stay. Lugging everything to the 7th floor on stairs was difficult, especially on the elderly. Doorknobs were broken and folks were getting stuck in the pool bathrooms, not being able to get out. Reported to management, and they simply removed the door handles. Super 8 likely would have been a far better stay, and definitely much cheaper!
