Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Local ma and pa. Suoer cozy! The back area is the property is filled with decks, grills, walkable paths and beauty. Jeff, owner on site - was so kind and went out of his way. Stay here. You won't regret. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and i have been staying at William Munger Inn when we are in duluth. We truly enjoy staying here became its a warm welcoming feel plus our pups have stayed here with us too. We love that our fur babies can vacation with us too. The rooms are clean, tidy , comfy, and priced well. Conveniently close to attraction and restaurants. We love supporting small business and William Munger is a great place to stay. Definitely recommended 👌

The property is old. Our room with double bed was quite small. The sheets were stained. Space heater. Recommended shower mat for wet bathroom floor. Located near train track. Limited access to lobby.

Would recommend

This room was booked almost 30 days in advance with the trip insurance via hotels.com. That being said, upon arrival, the hotel did not have our reservation on file. The gentleman could sense our distress and was very accommodating. Thankfully he had a room available (for 2 nights over MEA weekend). The room was very clean and cozy with soft bedding and coordinating thick bathroom towels. Larger fridge. The shower is a bit on the small side but it had 2 celing heaters. The images do not depict the motel style of the hotel. No popl or hot tub on site. Would recommend as it is a nice cozy place, reasonable with friendly staff.

Staff was friendly. Room seemed extremely clean as well as the grounds. Bed was excellent ,as well were the bath towels! Only real complaint was the bathroom was very tiny, could barely maneuver in the shower, and I'm not a large person.

Nostalgic stay next to easy nature trail

Loved the nostalgic setting with sufficient updates for modern convenience and comfort. Having the nature trail just outside the door was also wonderful. I was even able to easily extend my stay on short notice.
