Wasnt told or pre warned before our trip that the hotel was having major renovations in the lobby area. Was very busy and crowded when we came to check in, this was reflected in the staffs attitude. We were checked in by Eric, he barely said anything to us as he checked us in and was very blunt. He gave no directions were the lifts or what floor our room number was on. Location is okay, close to centre. Busy road outside so hard to cross. Room was okay, but everytime toilet was flushed there was a very bad sewage smell that would make the whole room smell.

The staff were fine but it felt like they were busy and that we were interrupting when we came up to the desk. We had a room with an adjoining door in it. We could hear the guests next door too well. It was quite loud at times with the blow dryer and conversations. Location is really good. Walking distance to Temple Bar area with lots of bars and restaurants, Guinness storehouse, Trinity College and the Dublin Castle.

Front desk area was under a bit of construction. Regardless, the rest of the facility was perfect! Room was spacious, the bathroom was clean and had ample room to maneuver. The staff were very friendly and personable. Helpful with directions and tips on the surrounding area. Rye breakfast area was convenient and always had plenty of seating. The food was delicious, not just your standard continental breakfast fare. Plenty of choices. The hotel was convenient to what we were interested in. Sites, restaurants, shops and pubs with local music. Darkey Kelly’s was our favorite!

Very nice place to stay

My stay was fine, i was given the wrong room but that not the worst thing, i booked a king size bed but instead a double bed with a single bed. Hotel was very clean and id recommend it.

We took a chance on this property, not really knowing how close it was to Temple bar and how noisy it might be. We were pleasantly surprised because it’s just across from Christchurch and away from any loud crowds (however close enough to walk to/from Temple bar). Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We had a great stay.

Great hotel. Sadly under construction when we arrived. Hotel rooms are great. Service could be better. The bar is small. Not enough space for us to have a drink sadly. Bartender couldn’t make a basic drink. Rooms are cleaned daily. Condiments provided. Sound proof rooms. Save and easy entrance and access. Staff is amazing they’ll help you with all your requests and stay professional.

The service was excellent. Room made everyday. Room cleaned. The front desk was being renovated during our stay and they made everything so easy for the guest to use, getting in and out that we didn’t notice the changes that were made while we sleep. So close to all activities and interest points that we seldom got a taxi. I will definitely recommend Leonardo Christ church hotel and will return on my next trip to Dublin. Loved the walk thru the city.
