Hotels with Kitchenettes in Iceland

You will pay dearly for dining out in Rekyavik, so keeping that in mind, avoid the tourist trap restaurants and consider Grandi hotel / bar especially for lunch dinner... The breakfast bar offers many options and is always being replenished. However, the emphasis of our review is that the bar / restaurant is an excellent choice for dining out. The quality and presentation of the food options are consistently excellent. We initially tried some other restaurants of good reputation, and except for one meal, all were of excellent quality and service was friendly. That being said, we chose to eat most of our meals at the Grandi bar restaurant. At Grandi, the bar / restaurant service is exceptional. The menu is not huge, but there is definitely thought put into trying to offer something that will appeal to a range of tastes. In our opinon, the food and service far surpassed the other restaurants outside of the hotel and in the main tourist areas, especially considering the price point for dining out in Rekyavik. In particular, try the seafood soup, cauliflower wings, rack of lamb and ribeye steak. OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Great stay , cozy rooms , clean , good location, bus stop 13 right next to to it breakfast buffet not worth it unless it’s included in your booking (which honestly should be for all rooms ) One small gripe , would be nice if outlets had adjacent USB attached to them Would absolutely stay there again and recommend to others
