Apartment in Ólafsvík

The hotel is dated there is no lift or reception area or staff available, however the rooms are large and have everything you need. The beds need replacing the mattresses are so soft you sink completely.

Comfortable enough.

Pros: Good location in the centre of town near the marina.
Cons: If you have heavy bags the rooms are all 3 flights up with no lift.
Confusion at check in. After about half an hour in the car we finally got through to someone on the phone. Apparently the motel over the road handles the bookings . We then were given a room for 2 instead of 3 . They fixed that and all was fine.
