Green Hotels in Bahamas

Stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. At check-in, we were told we were “upgraded” due to availability, but the room did not match what I booked (no true ocean view as expected). We were told we we would be moved the next day, but there was little follow-through and I had to track down updates myself. When an alternative was finally offered, I was told the blinds in that room would not open, which was not a reasonable option. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned upon arrival, including unsanitary conditions on the toilet. While staff did address it, this should not have happened. I will say that many of the staff around the resort were friendly and welcoming, but overall the handling of the room situation and lack of communication impacted our stay.

Always enjoy our time at Atlantis. The water park is so much fun. Love the beaches. The theme is so fun and done so well at the resort. Can't wait to return

My friend and I just returned from a 3 night's stay at the Hotel Riu Palace, Paradise Island, Bahamas. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. At first, I was a little underwhelmed by the hotel, but over the course of our visit, it got much better. Here are the pro's and cons of the property for future guests. Pros: Obviously its location which is right on the beach. The beach is gorgeous and the water is breathtaking. The food was delilvious, every meal was very well presented, and SO plentiful. Most of the staff we encountered were pleasant, but some
