Very poor stay

The hotel does not let you know that they dont have car parking facilities until you have booked. They also do not tell you that the car park opposite hotel is £22.95 per night and the car park they alternatively offer which is some 7 mins walk away is still £6 per night. Tell the client upfront so that they can make an informed decision. I struggle with walking and have lots of equipment which I wouldnt want to walk 7 mins across leicester city centre with. The room heating was not working, I was scheduled to stay 3 night, I went down on day 1 to notify reception and they advised turn theromstat upto 30 and it should work, it did not and at night I was cold, I called reception at 2am no answer. I notified the front desk on day 2 and told them of this issue, they were apologetic and when I got to the room it was still not functional and another cold night was experienced. I brought this to the attention of the duty manager who fully refunded the 3 nights as he accpeted the hotel was totally to blame and provided a very poor perfomance for my trip. Also you only get notified after booking that the gym facilities are no longer available - just clients information upfront so we can make informed choices

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. It’s a shame that the NCP opposite doesn’t offer discounted parking for hotel guests. We had to walk from Highcross which is not far, but a bit inconvenient with luggage.

Probably everything you can ask for in a hotel, however the soundproofing could be better with other rude hotel guests making a lot of noise in the night. Seems to have no toilet brush in the bathroom either.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful our stay was good, but the restaurant food was a total let down. Bland and tasteless my children didn't even touch theirs.

The property is fairly modern and well maintained. The only problem I had, being a disabled person, was that the body wash and shampoo bottles in the bathroom were placed too high for me to use conveniently. The siting of the TV in the room was also not convenient because it is placed at an angle to the bed. The room was clean.

Convenient to the city and canal. Strange location - basically it's on a roundabout surrounded by a very busy road. This hotel has 5G masts so not good for people who are EMF sensitive.
