The property is a little dated, but this adds to its charm. The location and staff are amazing. We were only here for 1 night with easy after hours access to our spacius room with a ocean view balcony. The location is exceptional. Walk out of the hotel toward the coastline and you can go to 3 incredible viewpoints and wander around w jaw dropping views. This can be done in as quickly as 20 minutes or explore to your heart's content. Breakfast is simple but with many, many thoughtful choices. Highly recommend!

So close to town yet it feels private and remote. The views are stunning from the second story rooms but the stairs aren’t great for those with walking difficulties or disabilities. Even the office and breakfast areas were not very accessible, so that is something to keep in mind. The rooms were amazing and we will definitely stay again!

Not our favorite anymore

We have stayed at the Inn several times and I think this is the first negative/mediocre review I have given. Great location in Depoe Bay near Tidal Waves Restaurant and whale watching. Beautiful view of the water and coastline. This time we were unprepared to have an upstairs room. (Always on the ground floor before and the picture of the room when we made reservation showed ground floor.) We are older and do not do well with stairs. Also there was no bath mat (even when asked) and the tub was very slippery when taking a shower. (Luckily someone in housekeeping, Rikki, brought us a couple decals for the bottom of the tub and it did help.) The shower/tub was deep and had no grab bars. Finally, the room was on the end of the building closest to the highway and it was very, very noisy. In the past we enjoyed the sounds of the water and even heard a whale blow hole. This time it was trucks, cars, motorcycle noise going all day and well into the night.

It was noticeable that the room has been updated. Room seemed very clean. Carpets could have used a cleaning. Continental breakfast was good. Loved the fact that we were a 5 minute walk to dining, shops, whale watching etc. We recommend this place.

Staff was super nice. It was easy to cancel for other day as my kid got sick. there were no charges taken. Very nice staff and clean and big room.

the breakfast offerings were quite substantial and it was nice to have options with the kitchenette to use the stove top etc. Bathroom space was generous as were the binoculars ! walking down to the beach required a ladder but was safe and there were some gorgeous walking paths just up from the property that skirted the rocks and ocean.

We love the location, staff was helpful, the little breakfast items were good. Room looked recently upgraded and it was clean and nice...we had a couple minor items to report, but owner was helpful and took care of it. The building is old, built in 1949 or so, and the walls are thin and resulted in hearing some noise from other rooms. Overall, we love the location.
