Death Valley Cheap Hotels

Nice property & helpful staff. My room was nice but it smelled & I had asked for a room that did not allow pets. I found out after checking in that every room is pet friendly! They are in the process of changing that, but unfortunately the room I was in did have a horrible pet order on the carpet. I did report it to the manager & maintenance brought a small machine I could run to help with the odor. It did while I used it for 24 hours but after I turned it back in, the odor came back. Very unhappy about that & I probably wouldn't have stayed there if I had known. Other hotels I've been to, have designated pet rooms. I had to run the a/c non stop to combat the odor. The room was nice except for that. The TV was limited in channels & no streaming apps such as Netflix to sign into. The breakfast was always good with a nice staff. The pool & jacuzzi were dirty. There were a couple wind days, but I never saw anyone clean it or skim it out and I only used them once in my 9 night stay because of that. The pool water did not look clean. Disappointing as it was a nice pool area.The cleaning staff were very nice & gave out needed supplies if asked. They always had a smile & nice greetings.I was disappointed they charged guests to use the laundry machines. I have stayed at other places that do not.

Clean and spacious rooms in a beautiful location with the best views. Very quiet and peaceful

I love the history of this property, and the tour by Rachel was amazing!
