On the first night of my five night stay, the security team pounded on my door due to a “blaring TV” complaint. I was in the room alone and was frightened by the alarming knocks on my door. I jumped out of bed to answer the door. The security guard was extremely rude until he realized he either had the wrong room or the complaint was nonsense. My TV was playing at a very low level. I received no apology. Instead, I heard his partner say that my room had been cleared and to move on. I called and complained to management the following morning. The manager (Vanessa) was extremely kind and understanding. She did apologize and said this was NOT normal protocol. She told me she would address it and follow up. When we spoke later that day, she said the team was addressing the issue and using it as a learning moment. However, I received nothing but an apology. I’m not one to say… hey give me something, but I didn’t sleep well that first night. I was confused and scared as to why they were sent to my room and how violently they banged on my door. I will not be staying here again, and I do not recommend the hotel. This is the only negative review I’ve ever given a hotel.
