The room was large with plenty of space, clean, and well stocked. The breakfast baskets were a very nice touch. Great location central to everything. Very courteous front desk staff and great views from the restaurant on the top floor. Highly recommend!

Stay was great, daily picnic basket breakfast was cute and a nice touch, and the suite/room was very spacious! Location was also ideal - walking distance to shops and restaurants, and the free shuttle was very helpful one cold night. Only knocks were the valet parking expense, weird seam down the middle of the floor, issues with toilet flushing normally, and checking in was more of a hassle than expected. None of these issues were show-stoppers or a major concern, but collectively enough to warrant 4 stars in my opinion.

Everything was basically fine but there were a few glitches: the room smelled a bit moldy upon entering; the bathroom door didn’t slide closed without fidgeting with it; and the first evening there were a few young men sitting in the hallway doing repairs and it a bit difficult getting by them to get on the elevators.

We called hotel when we arrived about where to go for valet and they told us wrong department, call back and ask for valet and hung up on us. Then we called back and got valet they said they would text us info. The room door wouldn’t close and had to get frond desk to send someone to come and screw hinges so door would close. We’ve stayed at several upscale hotels in Charleston including Charleston Place. It wasn’t what we were expecting.

Breakfast was a joke! A basket was dropped at the front door at the hallway on the floor and when I opened was like a Happy meal Probably not enough for one kid!!! Charged fee for a dog fee that wasn’t explained on the website
