The room was very spacious and offered excellent comfort. The beds were great. The room was quiet and the breakfast very good and generous. Location also very convenient to downtown and restaurants. Would book again when visiting SLO!

First off, I want to thank the staff of the Quality Suites Hotel in San Luis Obispo, for helping create a special memory we now have, of one of stops along our 45th anniversary trip. When booking hotels, I look not only for great reviews of potential properties to stay, but also look for comments that describe the interactions with staff. Expedia had numerous reviews/comments of how beautiful the property is, which I wholeheartedly agree with. The lobby is the first thing that greets travelers, and I must say it is very festive and welcoming. Our room (3rd floor King suite) was wonderfully decorated, and had a wonderful feeling of being home. The breakfast was amazing, with a choice of freshly cooked scrambled eggs, thick bacon and sausage, or a breakfast burrito. The amenities were the whole package, to say the least! As comfortable and accommodating the property is, what really touched my heart was the staff, as they truly were the gems during our stay, and I feel ARE the true gems of the property. From the first moment we were greeted by the front door staff as we walked into the lobby, we felt welcomed and appreciated, and this extended to our interaction with Mack from maintenance, who had to make a quick repair to a small leak in the bathroom, and on to the next morning when the sweet smiling cook asked for our breakfast order and wished us a good day, and lastly to at checkout staff This is a must stay place if you are looking for a place in the SLO area!

Nice place but don't stay if using pull out couch.

Great location. The most uncomfortable pull out bed we've ever slept on. AC stopped working in main area last day and would not go below 74 which made it impossible to sleep. Staff at front desk was nice about issue but no effort was made to offer a credit just to notify maintenance which was to late as we were checking out. Breakfast was really good and staff in kitchen were very friendly.

Spacious and pleasant spot to stay

It was great location with family friendly suites. Loved the manager’s welcome drink, bbq dinner option and free hot breakfast, and most of all, the friendly staff. One down side was the bed that was a little too oft for me to share with a friend because we kept waking each other up by turning and moving but the sofa bed helped us both get good sleep after all. It was a pleasant stay. Also liked the family friendly atmosphere for all age groups.
