Staff was very kind and helpful! Hotel was nice, but dated. Didn't utilize the dining and was bummed to pay $5 for coffee in the morning. Beds were comfortable, but a shower that doesn't drain is always gross.

To the Executive Team, I’m going to be direct; this property is losing money every day because of how it looks from the outside. From the street, it reads like a neglected motel, something people avoid. In Costa Mesa / Orange County, perception matters, and first impressions determine whether guests even walk through the door. Here’s the truth: once inside, the experience is completely different. The staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is outstanding; professional, welcoming, and consistent. The rooms are very clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’ve stayed here more than once because of the people and the cleanliness, not the exterior. But most guests will never make it inside. This location should be a major advantage; South Coast Plaza is directly across the freeway, one of the busiest malls in the U.S. You’re surrounded by luxury retail, great restaurants, and high traffic. John Wayne Airport is about 10 minutes away, making this a prime spot for business travelers. You don’t have a staff problem or a cleanliness problem. You have a curb appeal and perception problem and it’s costing you bookings, daily rate, and reputation. Your COO and CFO should be 🚩 this every meeting. The interior team is carrying this place. Executive leadership ⭐️ needs to match that effort.
