Don’t use do not disturb sign, or they’ll disturb
The room itself was very nice and comfortable, view was great. Unfortunately my stay went downhill when 2 members of staff turned up at my door knocking repeatedly at 8pm, after a few knocks i gathered it wasn’t just housekeeping, upon answering the door i was met by a male and female member of staff who said they were checking everything was okay as my do not disturb sign had been on my door for a long time… seems ironic? As a solo traveller i leave the sign up always when I'm in my room and tale it down when i head out, as i had done earlier that day. This interaction quite frankly creeped me out and made me feel very closely watched and quite paranoid for the rest of the night wondering why they had been watching my door.

Staff at the reception were not welcoming at all. Didn’t show any empathy towards the guests as we couldn’t load our email confirmation even though their internet service was down they expected us to have everything ready for them. We had to walkaround for couple of hours until they have service

From the excellent welcome from (Ellie?) at reception, we found all staff pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with options for all tastes. Ideally situated for a short walk into town. Can only thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Heating issues! Beware for kids!
We had the junior suite, but the room was soo cold, too cold for our 3 month old. They gave us a tiny heater, but didn’t do much. Then they had to down grade our room to a normal room that’s heated, we asked to keep the small heater but they said a lot of customers are requesting it. Clearly needs renovation or new management, further more, the trainee told us that the room they gave us, there was a note about it that said do not put customers in there because of the heating issues, yet they put us. Poor management, paid for a suite with panoramic view but got a bad view, lower floor and a normal room. But I guess I didn’t freeze!
