Really nice hotel and pleasant staff. Breakfast pretty good. Brasserie meal was awful, tiny piece of overcooked chicken with pork fat on top. served with raw peas. Disappointing to have paper cups in the room and the coffee not replenished. Overall - not perfect but fairly good.

Det er var et super godt ophold, meget børnevenligt og hyggeligt. Det var lidt ærgerligt, at personalet ikke fortæller mere om hotellet når man tjekke ind. De regner med man selv finder ud af hvor morgenmaden er, hvornår den bliver serveret, at der var legeområde til børn osv. Men ellers var personalet helt vildt søde.

The reason we booked this hotel was for the pool facility but turned out the pool was shut for maintenance right on the day we arrived and for the whole duration of our stay. The hotel offered an alternative facility called DGI byen which they said to be 10 min walk but it was actually 20 min (so 40 min there and back) having to walk there to use the pool was bad enough but when you got there it was like a sport center, full of kids (suitable for family with kids) however for a couple looking for a relaxing stay, there was nothing relaxing about it. Went straight back to the hotel and told them about the situ and that we were not happy about this, the manager was kind enough to compensate us differently so ended up getting upgraded with breakfast and access to their lounge which was appreciated.

We stayed in a family room for the simple reason that we would have more time in the city in the afternoon/evening and just be able to go back to the room and put the kids to sleep in the hotel room. Problem is that the door between was locked so I went down and waited in a long queue and they told me they’d come up. Waited for 40 minutes in the room but nobody showed up. Called to the reception and they said they’d be up in a few minutes. Waited 10-15 more minutes before anyone one in the staff showed up to unlock the door. A door that should had been unlocked from the begging. Given this waiting time it would have been quicker to travel back to Malmö (and we would have saved 6000 sek). Loads of hand marks on the windows (not from our kids) so didn’t feel that cleaned. Says that there are black out curtains, but please have a look at the attached picture. The room was very light. This is for me just normal curtains. Ordered room service from sticks and sushi at 20.45 and by that time they didn’t have the possibility to deliver the food so I went to pick it up from the restaurant (no problem) BUT got the food in small plastic boxes. Didn’t feel enjoyable to eat out of small plastic boxes (food was on top of each other). Thought the whole point of room service is that you get proper plates etc. Won’t be coming back.

Tivoli was an excellent stay. Staff at check-in were friendly and accommodating. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered a freat variety and was excellent.
