Great location.

Great location. Difficult for me to find. The fellow at the reception was not helpful and felt smug and arrogant. My Danish friend spoke to him and felt that he was tired of working in the tourist industry and that led to his arrogance. I asked about a room with private bath and the price he gave me was the price of the room online, without factoring in that I already had paid for a room for two nights. The bathrooms were a pain, but otherwise my room was fine.

Pods Feel Hotter Than The Surface Of The Sun

Lovely courtyard by a Japanese restaurant (share common outdoor seating area). Beautiful exposed beams and nice bar/reception with friendly staff. None of the positives can overcome the sleeping conditions. My first pod was next to outdoor seating area’s window. So, my pod kept filling with smoke. The pod would quake violently every time the couple above me would enter and exit. So, I asked if there was a different location with an opening. There was one on the next floor up. So, he happily moved me there. He said they had put a portable air conditioner in the room the pods reside and it should be chilly. I was excited about that since the previous pod bordered on uncomfortably hot (the pod had a circulation fan that helped with that). So, I moved up to the next floor. The room was nice and cool, great! then I opened the pod’s door and it was so hot that I felt I couldn’t stand it. So, I kept the door opened (which 100% of the people on this floor did). I thought leaving the door opened would eventually clear out the sweltering temperature and it would become ambient temperature. But, this pod had no circulation fan (although there was a button to turn one in and off). The unit that houses the fan was emptied. I slept about five hours my entire stay due to the heat. My phone wouldn’t charge over 80% because it kept piping up a warning that it would begin charging once it reached a safe temperature. It felt like a plausible mediaeval torture method. I won’t return.

Loved this property, whole process is super easy and loved the convenience of it. However, the capsule felt like I was burning in the desert. No AC was absolutely brutal and would not recommend.

Fun inexpensive stay in the heart of Copenhagen

Hotel Nyhavn63 is a hostel in a fantastically fun part of Copenhagen. There is not much in the way of service (have to rent towels, and most rooms do not have their own shower). We got a private room with a shower and toilet, which was spacious but no-frills. The building is very interesting and there is an Asian fusion restaurant on the premises that is FANTASTIC! There is also a small bar with limited items. But outside there is a world of food and drink in the part of Copenhagen once frequented by sailors on leave...

Amazing location and one of the cheapest accommodation around. Only problem we had was the capsules getting way too hot but we brought a fan and left the door to the capsule cracked overnight and that improved it alot

Check in was dreadful. No information on how to achieve after the reception at accommodation was closed. No instructions on requiring to download an app which would allow you access your booking info, and access codes, the access code you sent me for the front door did not work, I was sat trawling through all my correspondence from you and the hotel trying to find info on what to do, I ended up tailgating some other guests into the foyer. I then had to figure out how and where to check in. The information you give for check in is non existent and the hotel website also has no information or any clear information or instructions on what you should do and where to find the check in facility. At one point I thought I was going to spend the night in the entrance foyer (this may have been more comfortable re noise levels and temperature). I’m just pleased I brought some earplugs and a small usb fan with me. Overall a very disappointing and frustrating visit. I will not recommend or visit again.

Ok stay in pod for two nights

It was ok. The location very good. The digital locks and systems ok, little fidgy the digital pod door lock. Toilets not flushing so well, and no complimentary towel was a big minus. Came late and couldn't get a towel since the front desk was closed. Pillow and mattress very good. Having broken beer crates as stairs to upper pod not really safe.. All in all a price worthy.
