Just a "blink" away from the beach, this executive home is located in Carmel's coveted Golden Rectangle. The tri-level design has four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, three workspaces, multiple outdoor patios, glorious gardens and an evergreen lawn. The main living areas are on street level: a charming open kitchen/family room, the dining room, formal living room (with a fireplace and piano), a powder room, and a Queen guestroom with an ensuite bath and shower. Upstairs you’ll find an oceanview office and the master bedroom—along with a private bath with a jetted tub, walk-in shower, two lavs and a separate toilet compartment. Downstairs, guests can choose between the “bunk room” with a full bed and a twin, or a guest room with a full bed (these rooms share a hallway bath with a tub/shower). This spectacular home features Mission furniture, radiant heating, oak floors, two fireplaces and a wood-burning stove. Carmel's pristine beaches are just down the street, and the storybook downtown is a short walk away.

Wonderful vacation home in Carmel

Beautiful 4 bedroom home decorated with exceptional art pieces, book collections, games/puzzles, a lovely upright piano, comfortable furnishings, and an abundance of cooking and dining supplies, including a remarkable selection of spices. We stayed during the month of July, 2024, and hosted several family members; each was impressed with the home, its thoughtful layout ideal for entertaining, beautiful construction, and convenient walking distance to the beach, downtown shopping and dining. The four bedrooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and offer unique sleeping arrangements for each guest. The grounds are well kept and attractive. The outdoor entertainment decks, with comfortable seating, are a delightful place to enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. One observation, guests at the nearby hotel share street parking making it occasionally difficult if more parking is needed beyond the driveway or garage. Overall, the Sea Blink house was a wonderful home base from which to explore Carmel and return to enjoy the incredible weather from the comfort of this magnificent home.
