A spacious apartment on two floors situated in a most fantastic position on the top of a hill north of Lucca. Walking distance to a small village. Small private garden furnished for outdoor eating. Shared pool.

From the property you have a marvellous view over the typical Tuscan landscape with olive grows and wine yards. The apartment is a part of a small ancient village built around the main building, an antique villa, dating back to the 1400 century. Once the buildings where the apartment is situated were occupied by the servants, working for the owners of the villa, the noble family Guinigi.

Today all the houses have been restored and changed into 40 high standard apartments but at the moment not many of these are inhabited. A careful restoration has been done preserving the original atmosphere with stones and beamed ceilings and askwed windows.

This is a place where you will find all kind of comfort such as internet, tv and a common swimming pool (7 x 15 mt.1,40 mt deep) in a wonderful position in the park, it is open from 09.30 am until 7.00 pm. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
In the ancient villa next door there is a sauna, a small fitness room and an indoor pool (not heated), all at the guests' disposal. (Indoor facilities closed due to covid).

The apartment was originally a barn, it is on two floors but built on a slope so that you can exit from both floors. You enter from a small private furnished garden in to a big and light room which is used as a living/dining room with chair bed and tv, kitchenette (oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, micro, toaster).
On the lower floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Flot sted med dejlige omgivelser. Det levede op til forventningerne. Det er ret langt ude på landet, men der er heldigvis en sød købmand lidt længere oppe af vejen, ellers tager det knap 20 minutter at køre til nærmeste større supermarked.

The combination of great view, pool and walking distance to a village was perfect for us. We really enjoyed our holiday. The apartment is big and well furnished in a modern way. There is nothing to complain about, we enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend Bellavista if you want stunning views, a comfy apartment and a fabulous pool.

Wonderful place close to Lucca

We really enjoyed our holiday in Bellavista. It is better than the pictures. The view is incredible and we really loved beeing able to walk to a restaurant. The lady in the reception was very friendly and helped us with all the information we need. Booking and check in was easy. Wonderful place close to Lucca!
