Perfect location in the market/art/nightlife district! Beautifully decorated!

This is an absolutely beautiful and very comfortable apartment, located in the 7th district, which is the heart of Budapest's night and cultural life, also very near to the synagogue.
In this district you will find the famous 'ruin bars', and countless other clubs, restaurants, cafes, little specialty stores, open air markets…
It is also located within a 5 to 7 minute walk to Andrassy utca, where you will find all the major designer shops and the beautiful Opera House.
Being in the heart of the night life district, this is not the best location for light sleepers as on weekends there will be a lot of animation. However, that holds true for most of the city center.
The apartment has two bedrooms, a full bath with a shower, toilet and sink, and a separate half bath with a second toilet and sink.
The sofa-bed in the living room converts into a very comfortable double bed, so the apartment sleeps comfortably up to 6 adults.
The kitchen has all the appliances, pots and pans, plates, glasses and cutlery needed.
There is a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and a hair dryer.
Linens and towels are also provided, as are basic pantry items to get you started.
The apartment has free wi-fi and cable TV.
There is a nice little communal garden to the back of the building where it is lovely to sit and have a cigarette, read a book or relax at any time.

Excellent location, some maintenence issues

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and found the location to be convenient and safe.A few maintenence issues could be addressed such as the leaking shower which soaks the bathroom floor, a few burnt out light bulbs, and wire hanging from ceiling. These were minor, but I think the apartment could use a maintenence visit.Overall a good experience.

Great spot!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Loads of local establishments to eat and drink. Building and apartment were fantastic. There was some noise in the mornings as the locals left for work but to be expected in apartment living.

Great apartment, enjoyed the location. Kate was great, came to the train station to help us manage the metro when we could not figure it out. Plenty of room. We would do this all over again.

Perfect Location

This was a perfect location for me as I did almost all my traveling in Budapest by foot. It was no more than 1 hour from the sights I wanted to take in. Adequate groceries near, bus line just down the street and nicely furnaced for what I needed, a jumping off point. I never did figure out the dryer but that was fine. Having wash available was the priority. Secure location with 2 keyed locks to enter the courtyard was great and allowed me to open the door and windows at night to cool the apartment before bed as it was warm at the end of the day for me. Will recommend to friends and defiantly rebook if I return.

It is a very nice, spacious place. I did however misread what 1 and half bathrooms mean, no bath! So it’s basically a shower room and a tiny loo. That said the place is superbly located and Kate was great. Thanks very much

Excellent apartment and great value

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we booked and received detailed communication / instructions, to meeting the host upon arrival and enjoying the apartment for the 5 days we were in Budapest. The decoration is stunning and feels like you are in a luxury hotel suite with chandeliers / contemporary wallpaper. The location is perfect for the Ruin Bars / museums / restaurants and is about 10/15 minute walk from the Danube River. Everything that you needed for your stay was there, including some cupboard items / cutlery / plates / glasses etc. The kitchen was high quality including integrated appliances. All in all, this apartment is outstanding value for money and is a credit to its owner. I will definitely be returning to Budapest and hopefully will be able to stay here once again!

November girls weekend

Lovely stay, beautiful apartment, very well located to famous ruin bars. Excellent communication too. Would highly recommend! Go to Szimpler Kert a block away! Amazing set of interconnecting bars!

Great apartment, definitely coming back!

The apartment was perfectly located, clean, big, and had everything we needed. The communication in advance was great. It made me feel comfortable visiting someplace I had never been. One tiny complaint, the building is a little bit loud and there is live music across the street. Honestly, I thought it was cool and there was a ton of energy but I can see some people not loving it. Highly recommend!

Had the best time in Budapest with my friends! I expected to metro or taxi places but we ended up walking everyplace! Because The Apt was so centrally located. And it was beautiful! The beds were big & comfortable and the apt had everything we could need. Frank helped us by email and phone from before we got there until we left. Eva met us and helped us in. This was a wonderful experience. And Budapest is a fabulous and safe city to explore at all hours. I hope I will go back again. and will stay here. Highly recommend!

Amazing Staff

From the booking up to the arrival the staff was amazing. The location is questionable as there is a lot of bars in the area. We had to have our windows closed as the street noise and loud drunk crows at night disrupted our peace. Not an ideal location for family traveling with kids. One night, there was a fight involving about 10 individuals right outside our window which faces the street. The lady next door, even though doesn't speak English so sweet and very helpful. Prompts to the staff for trying to compensate but the hot weather made it very difficult to sleep at night, especially with closed windows. There is no air and no air conditioner in the apartment, just fans. Even provided an extra fan we were uncomfortable. I had to clean the apartment upon the arrival as the floors were dirty as well as the shower drain. City amazing and lost to do. Parking right around the corner, expensive but you don't have to worry about the car.

Wonderful place, Extremely Convenient, Beautiful City

My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful time staying in this apartment and visiting Budapest March 4-9). Everything was just as advertised. Check in and out was extremely easy, and the apartment was centrally located. It is an easy walk to all the tourist sites, and there is public transportation, markets, bars, cafes, and restaurants, all within 2-3 blocks at most. While there is some street noise from time to time, that's to be expected with an apartment that's a half-story about the street level, but it certainly was not a problem for us. The neighborhood is safe, and the apartment itself is very, very secure (There is a key to get into the mail apartment stairwell, another to enter the door to the courtyard, and two more to get to the apartment itself. While this may sound like a lot, it's quick and easy, and leaves you very confident that your belongings are safe and secure). Communication with the owner was also excellent. Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely rent this apartment again if we mark are way back to Budapest in the future. Thank you for everything Jacqueline and Eve!

Very nice apartment in a great location

Stayed for three nights with 5 other friends and we had a great time. Location wise it is perfect, especially for the nightlife, which is one of the main reasons we came out here. The famous Ruin Bar Szimpla Kert is on the parallel road to the apartment and a 2 minute walk away, with all the other clubs/ruin bars not too much further out. A lot of good restaurants dotted around and you're close enough to the center to see most of the sights in Budapest, which we did during the day. With a Spar and Tesco a couple of minutes away it gives you the perfect opportunity to stock up the apartment. Would definitely recommend this apartment and Budapest!

Amazing stay in gorgeous apartment

My friend and I stayed for three nights in this apartment. Very spacious, clean and safe. The host was lovely and very accommodating to our plans. The little extras that they did for us (booked us a taxi, left a bottle of wine on arrival) all made our stay even more enjoyable. Free wifi made it even better! Highly recommend this apartment and would choose it over any hotel! Thanks, we will be back.
