The Hotel's city centre location was excellent, enabling us to choose to either walk, bus or metro to all parts of the city. The Hotel has a unique sense of history with a mix of restored and well maintained facilities, and the large room sizes gave it a feeling of grandeur. Their staff were excellent ...
Hotel was very nice and in a great location - easy to walk to all the Budapest sights. Lobby and actual hotel were nice however the room was a little dated from the pictures so was little bit dissapointed with the nightly rate
All you'd expect from an international 5 star hotel, and well located. However, the A/C was impossible to adjust - with the only 'instructions' being the TV-based advice that the A/C is adjustable ..... . The lack of an old fashioned 'hotel directory' is not progress. A bit of building noise from ...
A bit far the city centre if you need to commute every day.Shuttle bus from airport then airport bus to city okay but takes time. Even paying a cab fare takes time about 25 minutes. Handy if you need an early flight.

this hotel sits just outside the city circle,a couple of blocks from the free trams 4 & 6 which run right round the outer circle of the city taking the public close to most of the things you want to be close to. The street appears quiet until early morning when there is a peak hour of cars and trucks ...
We booked a room with private bathroom for a one-night stay in Budapest. It was very cheap considering that we stayed over the weekend (Saturday night) and close to Christmas as well. The room was small, and the fit-out was cheap, but it was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is quite close to ...

Lovely staff, great atmosphere. We were meant to stay in the hostel and due to a slight mess up with our booking we were put up into one of their apartments. Looked after very well considering the mess up. Very inviting place to stay.

Very comfortable hotel conveniently located. Had a lovely view of Chain bridge and part of Budapest, brilliant night view. Front desk staff extremely helpful, concierge staff I thought a bit lacking in courteous customer service.
At the crossroads of Hungary you’ll find its capital: Budapest. Actually a conglomeration of the two cities Buda and Pest, this food, culture and bathhouse capital is full of Art Nouveau architecture and romance. Experience 19th-century history on the Danube or just hang with the locals. Either way, bring your bathers and an empty stomach, because you’ll need both.
Between the Metro, bus lines and taxis, it’s super-easy to get around after flights to Budapest. Want to slow down and take in the sights? Hop on the older, slower-moving yellow trams that are still in service. But if you really want to feel the wind in your hair, roll down the windows of one of our car hire options and put the pedal to the metal.
Do your Budapest flights arrive in the morning? Great! That means you’ll have all day to check out tons of museums, from the Holocaust Memorial Centre to the Marzipan Museum.
If you land in the afternoon, check out Elizabeth Lookout, the highest peak in the city, for a perfect sunset.
If you don’t touch down until after dark, then check out the famous Chain Bridge that joins the two halves of the city, all lit up and sparkly. Then head back to hotels in Budapest to recharge.
Budapest’s most popular attraction is the Royal Palace, and for good reason. It’s full of museums, gardens and courtyards where you can explore and relax. We insist you try some local fare, like pörkölt (what most people think of as goulash or Hungarian stew) and gulyás (which is actually more of a soup). Your taste buds will thank you.
