We booked our stay through Expedia, and unfortunately, the accommodations we received did not match what was advertised. The listings only displayed rooms with a jacuzzi, lake view, and fireplace. However, our experience fell far short of those expectations. 1. The room did not resemble the advertised photos. 2. The carpet near the bathroom/bedroom had a large, crunchy spot that appeared unclean. 3. The room had an unpleasant odor upon arrival. 4. The main door had visible gaps at both the top and bottom, which allowed insects to enter the room in the evenings. 5. We were promised a fireplace and a lake view, but our room included neither. 6. The televisions were outdated compared to the images shown online, and the bedroom TV emitted a constant humming sound. None of the TVs were smart TVs, despite modern listings suggesting otherwise. While the property grounds appeared well maintained and offered activities for children, we did not use them. The on-site food and drinks were enjoyable. However, early morning leaf blowing created additional frustrations, leaving dirt and debris on our vehicle. Given these issues, we were highly dissatisfied with the accuracy of the booking description and the overall condition of the accommodations. Our stay did not meet expectations, and we would rate the experience 2/5.

Nice property. Family friendly. Love the free amenities at the marina. They have a game room and three pools total. Right down the road from silver dollar city and only 13 min from the Branson strip. Room was nice and clean. Easy check in and check out. Definitely plan on returning in the future. My only complaint/suggestion would be that there are no extra locks on the door. Theres a lock in the main doorknob that locks but it unlocks as soon as you turn the handle to leave. This was a minor inconvenience for us due to having a toddler who knows how to open doors. With this being a very family friendly place it could help to put and extra lock at the top of the door to help prevent young kids from accidentally leaving and for an extra layer of security. Otherwise everything was amazing.

We have stayed at Still Waters several times over the years. This year was unfortunately a disappointment. The room did not feel clean, the floor need a good cleaning, the sofa and loveseat arms were very broken down and dirty, the carpet felt old and dirty. One night at the pool, the lifeguard closed up early (NOT weather related) another night multiple children were doing canon balls into the hot tub. I not only got VERY splashed but kicked in the face as well by one of them. Just a lot of money to spend for a nice time away that really wasn't all that nice. Not really sure at this point if I will be returning here or trying another resort. Plenty to pick from in Branson.

Nice property. Had a great time. Lake was nice as were the included amenities. Only used the 1 pool, but also very nice. Room was clean and as pictured (2-bedroom lakeview suite). Beds comfortable. Every staff member we encountered was phenomenal, from the front desk to the concierge (Gerie), to the lake staff, to the maintenance persons. We are from the far north (MA), so a bit unusual to ask someone how they are doing and receiving the response 'blessed' is not something we are used to but welcomed as the same time. The on-site food options were all good as well. Biggest concern coming in was based on older reviews that cited the presentation pressure. We had none of that. More recent reviews didn't mention it, so probably a change in approach. We were in the building right outside the Preview Office, and as a smoker i was there frequently. They appeared to have a good amount of traffic, but the staff there were also extremely friendly.

Worst experience

First we got there we told them my husband was handicapped he has to have a hip replaced and 2 knee replacements. They put us in the old section where there was no elevator but the new section does and we had to go to the old section because we went through a 3rd party, not carrying that my husband had a hard time going up and down the stairs. Then we get in the unit and it was filthy broken luvers on door and very old furniture. Then we asked if we could check out at 11 instead of 10 and they said no. Hotels.com needs to separate them selves with this property. I have never had a problem with going to other resorts going through hotel.com. lamp was broken beam on deck was just wedge in not attached to deck.

This was a great resort especially for families. We stayed in a one-bedroom condo. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was a great getaway. Even though this is a family resort we still enjoyed the stay as a couple. There were many amenities which added so much more to the stay. Great place and GREAT people.

There are 3 pools, all pools have hot tubs and a small wading pool for younger children. My friend and I sat at these to put our feet in. Would be nice if there was at least one step to get out of the wadding pool easier. Pools are not heated. So for some water was too cold. You have to exchange your towels yourself. There are two areas near two of the pools to do this. You give them a card to get the pool towel, but if you want new towels for your room, you need to bring them there to exchange them. The room we stayed in was on the second floor, no elevator. There are outdoor wooden stairs. The bathroom sink is outside of the bathroom. Good water pressure, and had plenty of hot water.The patio area smelled of cigarette smoke. You receive a text before arriving, and this number can be used to ask any questions. You will also receive notifications on resort activities or if some things are closing early. Responses to questions are very quick. The restaurants in the resort have good food and drinks. However all seating is outdoors, and the restaurants are more like food trucks. The pizza place is also the coffee place and the general store. All staff encountered was very helpful and polite. Room had two beds w/kitchenette. Dishes, bowls, cups, mugs, and silverware are provided. However you must wash these by hand yourself, there is a sign stating to wash them before leaving. You provide your own soap, and take your own trash out. Shampoo/Conditioner is not provided.
