Pool's the only nice part

Our bed was clean, but our friend's was not. The breakfast was sparce. The faucet was not attached to the sink, and the chair did not look clean to sit in. Water sprayed from the shower handle and the shower in our friends' room was nothing more than a hose. We enjoyed the pool and our room smelled better than our friends' room. This looked like it was a wonderful place with lots of character under a previous management. There's potential here if they'll just clean and do some basic plumbing!

Staff was great. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was. Bed was super comfy, jacuzzi tub was AMAZING. Outdoor pool was sooo relaxing and nice. Don’t judge a book by its cover! We will def stay here again.

The pools were nice but crowded. There was mold in the bathroom over the shower. The parking lot had food wrappers, dirty diaper. It was a pet friendly hotel. We took our pet. There was really nowhere to walk her because there was glass in the grass area.

Decent Price

Rooms were a good size, staff was friendly, never had any personal issues. My issue was that we celebrated my birthday here (July 14) and I wanted to lay out by the pool and swim but they shut both pools down at the same time. Didn’t let us swim at all. Why shut down both if you have 2 and offer pools? We also had to sleep with the tv on every night because the outside noise was insanely loud throughout the night, and then on check out day, they sent me an automated text asking me when I was going to check out, so I selected 11am, then 30 mins later at 9am the staff comes by knocking on my door that had a do not disturb sign on it asking me when I was checking out. That was very irritating. But all in all, other than those things, it was a decent stay for the price and did have very friendly staff.

FLEAS!!

After checking in we went to our room. Immediately we smelled cigarette smoke. I stopped the worker who was outside and asked if we could move to another room, unfortunately there was nothing available so we stayed. After being in the room for 10 minutes my husband noticed there were TWO fleas on him. I was in the middle of changing my daughter on the bed, when I looked over I also saw a flea on the pillow. Of course we immediately got our belongings and I went to the front desk. The lady was very friendly and apologized. She told us we would get a full refund for the two days that we had booked. It has now been almost two weeks since and we have received nothing. I contacted hotels.com and they did not receive any refund on their end. When the representative contacted the hotel he said that they would not be refunding me for the two days but they can refund one day. I then called and spoke to the manager myself. He was super unprofessional, said I was a liar and hung up on me. We were in Branson on 4th of July weekend, so finding another hotel was a struggle! We had no reason to make up a lie and leave, knowing it would be hard if not impossible to find another place to stay.

For the price it was not bad. The WiFi don’t work at all. That could have been cause we were in the very back of the hotel. Pools could use morning cleaning for sure. Vending machines took money but got nothing out of the machines. We never got the breakfast due to the long walk to the front. Every one said was not worth the walk up to the front for it. The rooms could be a bit cleaner.

The outside door that you were supposed to use code to get in was broken, so anyone could get in. The door to the room had to be slammed to lock the first time. There were no towels in the room had to go get some. Bathroom sink faucet was about to come loose

When we were walking to our room it was a bit scary it seemed like a horror hotel. The rooms and beds are so old, the bathroom was kinda of dirty. I was literally not comfortable at all spending the night. We woke up at 6:00am and left immediately. We didn't even shower there because the water would not drain fast enough and it would fill up. Same thing with the left sink. We couldn't wash our teeth because the water would stay. Never again.

Positive: hot water in shower and good water pressure. Free parking. Friendly staff at check in. Soft towels. Negative/s: garbage outside side entrance for the entire stay. Side entry door is a numeric push key pad and was wide open for anyone to enter, was broken so had to be shut very hard. Very uneasy about this! No lighting in the same entry hall to the building my room was in, it was a dark enclosed hall to another door just to get in the lower level. Smoke alarm battery alert sounding at 6am hanging from the ceiling in the room. (Was resolved) A/c was off on arrival and it was stifling hot in the room, had to leave and come back to be able to tolerate it. It was 94° outside and July! Very run down aesthetically. Not a huge or appealing selection for breakfast. Inconvenient accessibility to front lobby.

This hotel was not very clean and the WiFi was so horrible, you couldn’t even use it. The hair dryer didn’t work. I’m surprised there was no microwave in the room. The beds and the sheets on there were so uncomfortable and so old looking and feeling. The carpet felt sticky if you were on it barefoot. My daughter’s feet were black from walking on it barefoot only after 15 minutes. The shower didn’t spray properly and would get outside of the shower and the curtain would not stay closed. Definitely not staying at this hotel again.
