The location is very close to Branson. Good area to get to all the shows, etc. The Cottage we had was not very clean. Needed much attention. ( cleaning) Thick dusts on blinds. Floors all over the cottage needed much attention . We kept our socks on at all times. Noted on bottom of socks animal hair, soiled, dust. Noted water spot on floor. Wiped it up and noted towel to be dirty . Corners in kitchen crumbs, soiled. Please inform housekeeper. Possible need new cleaning equipment. Bed comfortable. Informed two staff employees re” cottage not clean. One didn’t say anything and the other stated she would inform manager of housekeeping. 🤔

The first room we checked in smelled strongly of mold and mildew so we left there and went and asked to be put in a different room. After 45 minutes, we were able to check into the second room the second room also smelled maybe not as strong. It had water damage in the main bedroom downstairs and in the kitchen. mold in the downstairs bathroom shower and the windowsill in the living room. we didn’t have the time to be able to check into another room so we went ahead and stayed there. Thankfully I travel with an air purifier. I could not believe the condition of the room. It was very dirty, cracks down the walls. Dust on the lamp fixture. I’ve stayed at stormy point before And had a better experience but this time it was a dump.

We love this place & have stayed here for years now. It's a comfortable place to stay & a great location too. Unfortunately, we have noticed, since Capital Vacations purchased this property, that care for the cottages & some of the amenities has decreased. Some examples-the indoor pool being"closed for maintenance"(2 yrs in a row for our visits), broken/damaged furniture & blinds, sloppy paint/stain jobs, & missing items. We had to make several trips to the front desk for things like trash bags, toilet paper, & dish washer pods, since the cottage was not stocked for a family staying a week. Capital Vacations has appeared to have cut back on security staff as well. But don't worry, they'll have plenty of staff at the counter where you "get your parking pass" to harass you to sign up for a timeshare presentation, after a long drive. Wish the check in process stopped with the front desk staff, because they are always helpful & nice. Love the place & the staff, hate to see it not being cared for as it should.

If you aren’t looking to buy a time share avoid this property. At check in, they try to talk you in to going to a presentation. They continue to hound you after refusing, they don’t understand the word “no”. It’s a nice property, but not worth being hassled. We won’t be back.

Wonderful place, but much in need of updating. Holes in the walls just painted over, something removed from wall but holes just left there, spiderwebs on the high ceiling fans, dusty towel racks, mold on the jacuzzi tub grout, horrible coffee pot, horrible bathroom lighting, fireplace didn’t work. This is our 4th time staying here in 9 years. It has definitely gone downhill!

The cottage they assigned us had not been cleaned. Beds had dirty linens and were unmade. The bathroom was full of dirty bath linens, and there were dirty towels in the kitchen. We went to the front desk, so they could rectify it. It took them nearly two hours to find us a cottage. When they did, the “accessible” shower wasn’t really. The hand sprayer couldn’t be used. The cottage was very shabby. The furniture was quite worn, and there was paint chipped off the walls and furniture in numerous places. The armoire in the downstairs room had a door ripped off, and the blinds had seen better days. The carpet in the dining area had not been vacuumed, and the shower upstairs was filthy. This was brought to their attention multiple times but was never taken care of. At one point I was assured a supervisor would be getting in touch with me. It’s been two and half months since that trip, and I’ve yet to hear from anyone.

We would have liked a slow cooker in the kitchen, so we brought our own. The door keys stopped working, so the staff came and reprogrammed the door (good). The pool was clean and not crowded, but even the indoor pool was very cold, despite being told it was heated. The washer and dryer were great - having laundry soap there really helped. The mattresses were pretty comfortable, but the sheets were a bit stiff. The dining room only seated four, with no extension available.

Overall the condo was good. It was clean, in which I greatly appreciated! But it was a little bare on the extras. The washer machine didn’t work, the coffee pot was damaged and we couldn’t get the fire place to come on. But it was clean and presented well. I didn’t appreciate the lady trying to get me to pay for an “special offer” only available at check in which I’m sure was a timeshare presentation. I only wanted to check in and go to our condo, not be pressured into buying something. But overall, good.

At check in they sent us over to a different area to get “parking passes”. She asked for my phone number. This is after I’d already completed check in and received my keys. I asked why she needed my phone number. She replies, “do you always get offended when someone asks for your phone number”? I told her the front desk had all my info already. But stupid me, I went ahead and gave it to her and sure enough it was a marketing gimmick. She was rude.

Staff was great during our stay this is our 4th time staying at the property now. Only down fall to this trip was a leaking hot water tank item that had our water pressure to minimum. The water was starting to cause mold in the floor around the main restroom entrance. While we were gone on Saturday we returned to our units door open after the maintenance had been completed.
