This was our first stay at the Godfrey and had purchased the "Executive King room" for two nights. When we checked in, we were given a room that was FAR smaller and did not even include the furniture shown on their website. Also the floor carpet at the door entrance was ripped down to the concrete. They called the room to "see how we found our accommodations". As we were not familiar with the Godfrey we mentioned about the carpet but thought the room was OK. Later we stopped by the front desk to ask if our room was in fact an Executive King as we thought that it was not at all as we saw described on their site. They "looked into this" and said that it was but was smaller based on "the configuration of the room". They quickly found and offered us another Executive King room that was larger. We accepted this new room and found it to be as we expected. At check-out we complained about our experience and mentioned that the initial room could not have possibly been in the same class and they should not have waited for our complaint to provide us with the proper room. Also there was significant construction in progress in the main lobby and the entire bar area was non-existent. We had expected to make use of the hotel bar and believe they misrepresented the hotel amenities. We did enjoy the room that was finally provided but believe that they were dishonest in how they represented their rooms and were not forthright in mitigating our disappointing experience.

Loved out stay at this hotel. It was my first time to Boston and it snowed. Lovely area of town, close to Boston Commons and other transportation *orange line". Accomodations were very comfortable. Housekeeping and Concierge staff were amazing.

We had a nice stay at this place, check in is a breeze, everyone is very nice. The bed is comfy, the room is nice and clean. The location is really good too, Macy’s is across the street, walking distance to Boston common and Faneuil Hall Market place, and North end. We will difinitely stay here again.

The room felt clean. Great location down in the theater district. Plenty of food places to eat at. Nice little touch with the snacks in the room. There is a breakfast place attached to the hotel that looked good. There is a small bar in the lobby. We will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, housekeeping was excellent. Keurig wasn’t great and the coffee shop in the Hotel wasn’t open until 7. Fun location downtown, loud at night. Valet parking outrageously priced, park in Chinatown for a third of the price. I would stay again.
