The hotel is very clean. Great Continental breakfast every morning. There is also an excellent restaurant open in the evenings with a great bar and food. I highly recommend Best Western Plus in Waltham.

While front lobby, and downstairs in general are nice, clean & welcoming the hallway was dirty (although to be fair I don’t know how long before I arrived it became dirty so it’s possible the staff was not yet aware) but the room was definitely in questionable shape. The rug had numerous stains, ranging from very large to small (and sticky in places), the tub was all dinged up and there was a noticeable hole around the shower head pipe, the bathroom floor had noticeable dust/dirt/etc accumulated along the floorboards, there was food crumbs under the table and sticky residue on 2 of the tables. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet so it would suddenly & loudly shift as you were on it. And there was a noise that continued throughout the night, on and off, that resembled a leaf blower being turned on and off after a few seconds. The doors needed to be pulled hard to ensure full closure and this meant hearing doors at all hours. The little interaction I had with the staff was pleasant, everyone was very kind, friendly & helpful.

Really nice lobby and pool, room was clean but a little dated. Carpet had a couple bad repairs and bathroom workmanship wasn't the best.

Overall, the Best Western was very nice. The fitness center was large although the elliptical machine could have been nicer. I would have given 4 stars but the shower in my room did not work. Maintenance did come relatively quickly and resolved the oroblem but it was still frustrating, especially since I was only there one night.
