Eco-frendly hotel. Room key door knob sign were made of wood. They provided the hotel surrounding map, which was very interesting and helpful. Breakfast was not order to cook but buffet style which actually we prefered.

We clambered up to our room only to find that another family were already staying in that room! We then had to clamber back down all the stairs to be allocated a room a couple of doors away from the original room - up all the stairs again. Total shambles

Authentic to its age yet well appointed and maintained to contemporary standards. The room, facilities and grounds are extremely well maintained. All staff interaction was professional, yet personable.
