Tight parking spots for larger cars; thin curtains in lounge making it hard to watch TV at certain times of the day, nice hot shower but only luke warm water coming out of sink and basin taps; kitchen well appointed, bed comfortable, apartment spacious for longer stays, balcony a plus; easy walk to hospital main reason for stay, front office very informative and helpful

I didn’t like that when going into our room on arrival we found dirty rusty razor and a used dirty soap bar in bathroom when told about it they offered to tidy it up and reakon it was cleaned upon our arrival but the rusty razor says other wise

I stayed with my sister and nephew for 2 nights over the school holidays. The complex is quite new, 7 yrs old. We had a large 2 bed 2 bath unit on level 1 with massive balcony. Balcony was very dusty and needed a good clean. The outdoor table and chairs needed cleaning. The bathrooms had mold on the metal parts. The inside of the front door had a lot of black dust in the frame. Right before the Broncos v Penrith game all the electricity went off suddenly. The female manager was still on site even though she said she was leaving in 5 minutes for the day, She called a man to come and turn it back on. Catastrophe averted. We watched the game! However, after the game, we went to have a shower but there was no hot water. We called and got through to the night manager and he said he couldn't get a sparky in until the morning but offered for us to shower in another unit when we returned from going out. We all had showers at 11 pm. The electrician came around the next morning when we were leaving and said that the hot water system had sparked out and that triggered the power outage. We were relieved there was no fire in the laundry (as there had been at our own building in Brisbane a week earlier set off by a dryer). We had been using the washing machine and dryer and that had set off the problem apparently. I asked to be compensated for one night for the inconvenience and was offered $50.

Clean and convenient

We did not know what to expect staying at the Aquarius. We required accommodation near the medical facilities in the area. The check in was quick and professional. The young lady at the counter was welcoming, helpful, friendly and very professional. The room was large, well set out and clean. The view of the water was lovely as it took your attention away from all the rooftops of houses and apartments. It was a very pleasant and easy walk along the boardwalk to the local Stocklands where there were a variety of restaurants.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Easy secure parking which was free. Bangkok86 Thai Restaurant nearby was fantastic. Staff on arrival very friendly. Highly recommend
