A Pleasant Surprise

Forget the whole “don’t stay if the doors face the outside” mentality when it comes to this hotel. It was a great place to stay. Check-in was easy, the staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the hotel was for the low rate we paid. I don’t realize there was a hot tub too, and my son enjoyed it after a long day on the baseball field. We will definitely put this location at the top of our list for this area!

IMO, you won’t find a better room in this area at this price point. If your room is poolside, you will absolutely forget you’re next to Hooters on an 6-lane highway across from Walmart. Grounds are impeccable. Rooms are remodeled with some cool accent lighting and decor. Pool and pretty large hot tub are open year-round. Oh yeah, and the continental breakfast is really good with lots of options. I almost don’t want to give this review because it feels like a little secret. I’m not a high-end person, and it’s not ritzy, but as long as they keep doing what they’re doing, I will always book here when coming to Gulfport.
