The best thing about this property is when you walk in. They pipe in the smell of coconut and beaches is the only way I can describe it. It’s heavenly but when you get inside, it’s not so heavenly anymore. The place was dingy and dated. It truly needs new carpets and decor. I went there in mid August but it was extremely slow - hardly anyone there. The actual restaurant was OK, but I expected it to be more fun. My room was OK. I had a very nice view of the Gulf of Mexico but again it was dated. The carpets need replaced, the shower needs scrubbed out a little bit more to get rid of the mold. The bed was comfortable however they only give you a sheet and the thinnest comforter I have ever seen. I had to call down and get blankets because I was freezing the first night. They did bring them right away, however. It had its good points and bad points, but not enough good to inspire me to come back for a second stay.

BEST WEEKEND TRIP EVER

I took my 10 year old and his bestie for a weekend bday trip. It was our 1st time at Margaritaville and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It’s definitely an expensive trip, as I’ve spent a full week in Destin and it cost the same as only 2 nights at this place with the food and arcades but we really had an amazing time! Zero complaints. And how cool is it that your pool bracelet doubles as your room key?! So nifty!

Entry very confusing. Registration on 10th floor - go figure??? A/C blowing directly on head of bed. Balcony door would be locked but you could still open it. Not enough light in the bathroom.

No music at pool. Never been to one of your hotels no music. No smoking hotel full of pot smell. All but a few employees freaked of pot smell. Bathroom exhaust fan non working. Blown light bulbs in room. No maintenance to come.
