My husband and I stayed at the property in October. We paid for an upgraded room with a separate living room which we got. When you sat on the couch, it sagged so much, getting out of it was a challenge. The big issue was that the electricity went out of the hotel the first morning we were there. It was so dark in our room, that we could not see to take a shower. The back up generator provided power for the elevator and the staff met us at the bottom of the elevators with lights so we could get to the lobby. We decided to check out of the hotel that could not provide us with the light that we needed. We had opened all the curtains and blinds. We went to the lobby right after that and checked out one day early because we could not shower there. When we returned home, we asked for one day to be reimbursed, not even both, and they declined. We are long time Hilton Customers, but that did not seem to matter. I am disappointed and need to reconsider where I stay in the future. Hope they will reconsider.
