A get-away in the forest, yet only two minutes from I5 and five minutes from the charming Fairhaven area of Bellingham, this secluded guest house is nestled on the end of a dead-end street. This spacious 900 square feet charmer has its own entry and separate parking pad. The kitchen features a two-burner cooktop, an under-the-counter refrigerator, and a built-in microwave. The kitchen is stocked with cook ware and serving items, as well as coffee maker and Peets coffee. In addition to the queen bed in the bedroom, the living room features an ottoman that pulls out into a bed. The stereo has speakers in the living room as well as auxiliary speakers in the bedroom. The 50" smart TV includes basic channels and Amazon video access. The bathroom features a glassed-in shower, fluffy towels, and a blow dryer.

This peaceful retreat is only minutes from the InterUrban and Arroyo Park trails and less than ten minutes from Western Washington University.

Sleeps three. Two in bedroom and one on twin fold-out ottoman. Dining for six, four at dining room table and two at kitchen counter.

The hosts were easy to communicate with regarding places to eat locally prior to our arrival at the house. Parking space is concrete and very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. I was thrilled with the location!The property and surrounding trails were like a fairy land. From the house, you can walk quickly down a path to a trail system that crosses a beautiful creek flowing through a forest that connects to the interurban trail and State Park. Simply lovely. I also loved the Bellingham City Park for its expansive grounds with thick forest, pond, and waterfall. We would love to live in Bellingham for all the trails.

Host went over and above to make our stay wonderful, and the place itself was perfect: peacefully nestled at the end of a quiet road, with serenading birds and frogs, and access to a vast network of trails without ever having to drive, or do any road-walking. The space was larger than we imagined and so easy to access, with dedicated parking. It's in a great location. We loved how quiet the neighborhood is adjacent to a forested green space. The hosts are onsite in a separate building. They are helpful, kind, and also quiet.

It is spacious and in a beautiful setting; lots of trees and some nice lawns. It's a short walk from Arroyo Park, which is even more woodsy. It's reasonably private, but the website doesn't say that the rental is upstairs from a garage, so we heard the garage door opener rumbling a couple times/day. The hosts only interacted with us when we wanted.The kitchen as enough equipment to cook meals and plenty of storage. The bathroom is roomy and up-to-date. One challenge for us is that there's only one electrical outlet in the bathroom and it was hidden behind the hand towel, so we couldn't find it for a couple of days. The heaters in the main room are a bit noisy, but they keep it as warm as we wanted. There are lots of interesting books about the Bellingham area.We think it was a good choice for our week-long stay.

Cute Place!

This is a very cute place and my mom and I enjoyed our stay. I will definitely stay here again when I return to visit my son and daughter in law. It had everything we needed. My only complaint is the place was not very clean. We also like to cook our own meals and the kitchen tools were limited. Outside of this it was great.

The cabin looked rougher on the outside than the pictures but was nice inside. I verfied with the manager whether the cabin had an EV charger but there was none. We stayed at the cabin 5 nights but initially only had 1 wash cloth. We asked for more and only received 2 more and they were in bad condition. The bathroom needs a good deep cleaning.

Fantastic, quiet, private! I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated how easy Steve made the process of checking in/out was. This is a really novel location, end of a cul de sac and on the second story of a garage/outbuilding so when you look out the windows when sitting on the couch, you feel like your in a tree house. Cedars and maples and birds and all the good stuff. I will definitely stay here again.

Rustic getaway suite in Bellingham

Beautifully located on the south side of Bellingham, this suite is ideally located to explore the towns of Fairhaven, Bellingham, and the Chuckanut mountain area. Very wooded, quiet, and serene. The suite was well stocked with all the essentials, and the bed was super comfortable. We will stay here again on our next visit!!!
