Cute motel close to every thing on the island. We were looking for a place to stay overnight very last minute Memorial Day weekend. We came upon the Seahorse, and it was about the only place in LBI that didn’t require a 2 night minimum. I booked it immediately, and was pleasantly surprised by how adorable it was. The woman at the front desk is very friendly and gave us a very nice room in the back corner of the hotel. Bed was comfortable, and there was 0 noise. Very clean, bathroom was updated, we would stay again.

Upon checking in we noticed ants in room along with brown smear stains on side of bed and near toilet paper holder. When we came back from dinner police and an ambulance were there. A fight had broken out and they were searching a car pulling out medicine bottles and such. I was nervous to stay with my 5 year old. I went to office and no one was there lights off door locked. The next day I explained how it wasn’t safe and they offered no help and were completely unaware of what had transpired. Not good.
