The biggest problem is the dog next door - it lives outdoors on a chain and is barking at all hours of the night. The neigbors had a loud party going until midnight. The decor of the livingroom is pretty weird - it looks like a waiting room of some office.

Comfortable Stay

I stayed here with my mom aunt and husband for one night. This is a very comfortable place to crash the night and better than a hotel. We watched movies at the living room and the house it’s well equipped with a a/c unit since outside was supper hot. The house is gated and The two bathrooms were equipped with towels liquid soap and shampoo. Loved the cold water inside the fridge. Great communication with host. Will definitely stay here again .

Best Place Ever!

The property is very clean. Every room has queen size beds, incl. Towels and beautiful bedding. We were their for a wedding 15 min. the pictures on site do not look like that. They are beautifully decorated

Bakersfield was a midway point for our trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas so we were looking for a place to rest and spend the night. We didn’t see any of the city accept for a Walmart where I picked up an order. It was conveniently located. About half way to Bakersfield I realized I booked the wrong date but the host was gracious in letting us stay after working with VRBO on our behalf. The home was clean and smelt great and the property was just as listed. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for watching tv after dinner. The kitchen is nice and big and well stocked (could use some cooking utensils). There was coffee with all the fixings and that was super nice to have. Coffee pot was nice and easy to work. FYI…This has absolutely nothing to do with the house but there are lots of dogs in the neighborhood and they bark all the time. I just used a white noise app on my phone so I didn’t hear them as much.

Roomy and very clean

We came in during the early evening. The owners had everything prepared. The house was very clean. We were grateful for a well organized space. I wished they’d show you the bedrooms. They’re very nice. One bathroom is very wide, a space someone with mobility issues may appreciate. Quiet area. Thank you!

Weekend Stay

House was gated and fully fenced, which was nice. Easy access and parking, house was very clean. Could use a few more small amenities in the kitchen, we had two families 4 adults and 4 kids and was difficult to prepare meals with small fry pan and no baking sheets, but overall a great value and so much better than a hotel. Didn't have much communication, but my only question was answered quickly and then information to access the home, etc were provided timely without issue.
