Stayed here for a long weekend and had a great stay. No big problems. The location is central to Avalon and mostly quiet. The breakfast was brought into the room and the choices we made were delicious. Two notable things: (1) DirectTV was not working however the Netflix, etc., worked flawlessly while in the room. (2) There is a club across the street (Club Chi Chi ?) that was loud until 2am, which is to be expected. Ear plugs are provided in the room.

Ocean was not visible from our room called Santa Cruise. Rooms are small. You keep running into furniture. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are all on the second floor. There is no elevator. You have to drag your suitcases two flights of stairs up and then down. The breakfast for our room was granola and cold milk and yogurt and small bowl of fresh fruit. We had to go out for breakfast after that. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The staff was amazing, so kind and helpful. The bathroom could use some help, the toilet seems to run for about 15 minutes and the sink kept getting clogged if you don’t pull up the drain. You do have to use your earplugs at night because of the noise level.
